Breakfast was a little expensive so we went out to eat at a local restaurant instead.
We had a long wait for our flight but were very happy to be able to use the bar area for our wait.

Our room was bright, properly equipped, in excellent condition and very clean. Although our room was not large, it felt fairly cheerful and spacious, possibly due to the high ceiling, the simple, light-coloured furniture, and the balcony. The bed was comfortable, the WiFi/Internet worked very well, and the bathroom and shower were fine. The room was equipped with a mini-refrigerator and an electric kettle.
We were not troubled by any noise either from within the hotel or from the street. The location of Sonia Hotel within Kos Town is ideal -- in a quiet neighbourhood but barely two blocks from the harbor and commercial areas with their innumerable shops and restaurants.
Checking-in and checking-out were easy. The receptionist provided numerous tips regarding restaurants, made phone calls to verify opening hours, and booked a taxi for our trip to the airport.
Kos Town has a long waterfront, several parks, and many shops and restaurants. It boasts the largest harbour of the island and is near the important Asklepion archaeological site. However, Kos Town is a multi-faceted town, and it is not essentially a center for tourists. As Sonia Hotel is not a "resort hotel" but a classic city hotel, it is well-matched to Kos Town and a very satisfactory place to stay.
The 3-star superior hotel Astron is located in the heart of the city, on the graphic harbour of Kos. It operates all year round and offers a spectacular view of the Medieval Castle.

The town was lovely. Friendly people. Would recommend going during peak times if you want to explore more of the town. Most things are not available during April. I wanted to do the 3island tour but went off peak time so that was not available. The town is lovely you can walk around everywhere. Don’t book transfer take the local bus it’s 3.50euros. A lot cheaper. Transfer from hotel is a rip off. The cabs do take card out there as well. Defo go to the hamam aretmis that was really good.

Lively Kos Town is a tourist destination.
Lively Kos Town is a tourist destination. If you are looking to do the three Islands cruise in 1 day, do it, but book down at the harbour rather through an agent or your hotel. Rather than paying 38 Euros per person, we got it for 20 Euros.
We received some great restaurant recommendations from the wonderful staff at the Diamond Boutique Hotel. We found the best restaurants were a couple streets back from the harbour restaurants.

There are a lot of interesting ancient sites and monuments (greek, roman and medieval).
It was very pleasant cycling along the coast to Tigaki beach (with hire bikes) for sunbathing and a leisurely lunch and then around the salt lake, to see the small flock of flamingos in residence there.
The town itself is a very popular tourist spot for families with lots of facilities.

Kos town at night was lovely.
Lots of ancient sites to see. but quite a few recommendations in our guide book (2022) are closed
The Mosque in the main square is fenced off and looks as if it has been that way for quite some time. The area around Hippocrates Tree is also fenced off and almost derelict which was a shame.
Good restaurants away from harbour, especially Iannos, and Ali.

Kos town is busy and vibrant. Some historical sights to see. Lots of bars/cafes and quaint shops. Love the tree lined streets. The harbour is lovely…. especially feeding the fish! Many boat trips available to other islands and ferries to Turkey. Long promenade ….. walked from Kos to Psalidi. Enjoyed the vibe as visited in October so probably not as busy as high season. Fairly flat so easy to access for anyone with mobility issues. Many and varied places to eat.

It is a very beautiful city where history, sun, sea and good food come together. It is very close to Turkey and can be easily visited. If planned well, you can easily go anywhere on the island by public buses. Especially Zia and Asklepion should be seen.
Large size apartment in perfect central location for an affordable price, cleaned every day, individual rooms for children and adults, individual kitchen, balconies, right next to one of the best streets of Kos town, walking distance to both the big ferries port and the smaller harbor port for day cruises to other island, right in the middle of all the archeologic attractions such as agora, casa romana, western escavations. Plus next to shopping places. Perfect location really to live like a local in a very central location.
We chose White Pearls because it was a small, adults-only boutique beach side resort. It delivered on its promise. The resort itself is beautifully designed. We loved the landscaping, pool, pool bar and the beach and the location close to Kos town. We had a comfortable, beautifully furnished suite. Breakfast was a la cart and very generous and tasty. The staff and service were amazing! Many thanks to Nomi and Angeliki and everyone else for making our stay special. We’ll be surely back.
The hotel is conviniently located at about 10 minutes pleasant walk to the centre of Kos town. The room was adequate in size with a big balcony. A/C worked properly, the fridge was great too. Very good continental breakfast. Nice swimming pool open till 6 PM. Plenty of options to eat in the vicinity as well as a good choice of supermarkets. Parking in the streets was easy in finding a place.
Our room was clean and quite spacious with a little terrace . The hotel pool is beautiful and so is the part of the beach that is near the hotel. We liked the fact that the hotel was somewhat away Kos town and the touristy hustle and bustle there. A very nice hotel to chill out for a few days.
The food was nice too, and the cocktail bar exceptional.
Comfortable accommodation. Our room looked better than on these pictures :) it is clean, spatious, and every room has a nice balcony. There is a small kitchenette as well. Hotel is close to the beach with loungers and Kos town. Also, there are several Tavernas nearby, a grocery store and several bike rentals. Would definitely recommend.
The location of the hotel was great, it was only 5-minute walk to Kos town. The rooms were big and clean, the balcony was perfect. The internet connection was brilliant. The staff was friendly and helpful so that we did not experience any troublesome issues.
A clean, spacious and comfortable room with a beautiful view of Kos Marina. Staff always smiling and welcoming. Nice breakfast and very good position (you can easily walk to beaches and to city centre). Very nice place where to spend some days in Kos Town.
The location is great, easy access to anything and everything you need on the island. Probably the best location you could wish for in Kos. Delicious breakfast, with variety of options l, and super friendly staff with a smile on their faces.
Great base for a short stay near to the harbour and the various sites to see in and around Kos Town. Set back from the busy.centre, with some lovely eateries nearby. Room modern and clean. Good breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful.
Thus us our favorite hotel in Kos. Thus us due to the great location to the Kos town and the port, delicious breakfast buffet and the friendly staff. Thanks to Kathy, Maria and Iliana, every time we stay @Triton, we feel at home.
Friendly and welcoming staff, nice gesture with complimentary welcome coffee and drinks.
We stayed as a family of 3 and it is highly recommended due to proximity to Kos town centre and welcoming staff members.
Considerably new building, elegantly designed and efficiently managed. Polite and attentive staff, clean rooms, delicious breakfast. Having swimming pool gives more advantages among the other hotels.
Amazing hotel, seamless check in and out, helpful staff. All inclusive food is great, drinks are as to be expected- you can order premium brands/wine and pay extra which we did. Brilliant massage!
it is a family run hotel and everybody is doing their best to help the guests. they are very friendly and Gulsen Abla is very helpful to us in terms of giving advice for beaches.
