Spectacular apartment and wonderful hosts! The accommodations were spotless, convenient and the restaurant on site was good. The hosts went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and provided great instructions for getting into the park from a less busy entrance. We were able to beat much of the crowd on the Upper lakes and just had to endure the throngs on the Lower lakes. We arrived a bit late in the evening but were still able to get a meal in the restaurant and had the most magnificent homemade chocolate cake for dessert.

We stayed in Etno Gardens to be able to access Plitvice NP. It was so easy to walk straight from the unit and into the park, in 300m. David was incredibly helpful and gave us great advice. We had dinner and breakfast there too which was delicious. I would recommend this place to my friends!

We really enjoyed the hearty simple breakfast, the location (a few minutes walk from the park), and the host (Bosco) was super helpful answering questions, offering to book dinner for us, etc. We only got to enjoy breakfast outside once (due to weather) but it was fun watching the chickens roam around doing their thing!

The property is right next to a stream and surrounded by woods - beautiful! It was super easy to enter with a lock box, and the host Georgie was helpful, present, and accommodating. He even drove us down to the main resort lodge for dinner our first night since we had arrived right around the dinner hour. You can rely on google maps to get there, but when you get closer to the cabin the roads are dirt/gravel and not clearly labeled, so be sure to drive slowly and watch the map you'll get there just fine. Yeti Cabin itself has a very clear sign. I wish we could've stayed longer!

Oh my gosh. How do I begin!! Fabulous from beginning to end. Anthony was so welcoming and helpful planning our walk through Plitvice Lakes. Definitely stay here so you can use gate 3 which is almost a secret entrance to the lakes. And miss the crowds and have a more enjoyable experience of the lakes. Plus Anthony is a fabulous cook!! Breakfast and dinners. And the rooms are 5+ stars.
Skip everywhere else and go here. You will thank me!!

A traditional guesthouse experience, my hosts were extremely kind and welcoming. I arrived late at night and at first they were unable to locate my reservation but made me feel right at home and set me up in a room while they worked it out. They did not speak English, but we were able to communicate just fine. For the price, comfort of facilities were as expected. Location was ideal for someone traveling with their own car. Beautiful view and a short 10 minute drive to Entrance 1, market and restaurants. Access to kitchen, wifi and outdoor patio were a must for me.

It's the best place if you want to walk Plitvice Lakes park, in my case I stayed 3 days because I like walking almost every path 😊. If you're a fast walker you can do the park in just one day but it's better to take your time, that place is dreamy. Plitvica Selo is a tiny location where you can go to the park via entrance #3 where you can avoid loooooong lines waiting.

The location is amazing.
The location is amazing. The lookout at the top of the main park waterfall is a short walk from the premises. The quiet serenity of the area is remarkable. Getting up early for a walk in the misty paths was a true treasure.
The room is truly comfortable and homely with all amenities required. Host Ante is a great cook and also shared ideas and things to do with our upcoming stays in Split, Hvar and Dubrovnik, which helps a lot in especially choosing a restaurant.
I would truly recommend this stay. It is a great location.

Plitvice Selo is just a couple of houses without any shops...
Plitvice Selo is just a couple of houses without any shops but mostly cottages/apartments for rent, but with a few restaurants. It is very close to entrance 3 (15 minutes by foot), so you do not need the car for your stay. From entrance 3 you can either walk or take the boat to the other end (included in the daily pass of the national park - book in advance!). It is a lot less touristic, but this also means you will not find many places to buy food (even inside the park) or eat in, hence a good accommodation which provides this is very helpful.

Plitvica selo is a small village right next to the P3 entrance of the Plitvice lakes. It is a quite village in nature without any stores. There are only a few places you can eat or have a drink within walking distance. For more choices you need a car. It maybe difficult to be in Plitvica selo without a car. Great place for outdoor activities such as walking, hiking and biking.

This small village was originally a dairy farming community...
This small village was originally a dairy farming community tucked away in a small glen among the mountains of Plitvice National Park. A few miles off the main highway, it is accessed by a lightly trafficked country road with occasional breathtaking views of the canyon below and the river flowing out of the Plitvice Lakes. The inns, in keeping with UNESCO rules, are the original historic farm buildings, which have been renovated on the interior. The inns are within walking distance of a lesser known and lightly used third entrance to the park, from which one can begin exploring this beautiful National Park.

Beautiful place in the heart of the beautiful lakes.
Beautiful place in the heart of the beautiful lakes. We stayed here while it was raining which did not stop us from enjoying beautiful sceneries and nature overall. We bought raincoats for decent price easily. Definitely coming back for nicer weather. Place is the heaven.
Beautiful and serene. Staff incredibly friendly. Got there in the evening after a long day of adventure and travel, and was so excited to find that they had beer and wine for sale. Decent dinner at another B&B was a quick walk away. Walking distance to entrance 3 which takes you directly to the boat. I had read that entrance 3 was an illegal entrance. However, there was a ranger they’re scanning tickets and we had no problem walking in. Would 100% stay here over the park hotels
- very nice accommodation, we had whole upper floor for us, well equipped, nothing missing, clean
- very friendly staff, helped with navigation to the park
- Plitvica Selo is a perfect location for the visit because it's right above the lower lakes. You can take a walk and without official entering the park enjoy spectacular views. Plus you can use the entrance there and avoid crowds in Entrance 1 and 2
We enjoyed staying there for many reasons: the holders are a very nice family, they explained us a perfect route around the lakes for visiting them with kids. We travel with two kids - 4 years and 9 months old, and felt there like home. The rooms are very clean, modern and the breakfast was amazing. The hotel is 15 min. walking to the highest waterfall in Croatia. We highly recommend this place.
Very clean and nice decorated rooms. The staff is very friendly and dog friendly. Breakfast was great, large assortment sweet and savory. Great wine assortiment from Croatia. We enjoyed our stay a lot and would definitely like to come back. I highly recommend to visit the hotel in winter time as it is not super crowded.
Great location inside the park, lovely new and spacious rooms, excellent shower and they let us park the car for the day at the hotel while we visited the lakes. Like other reviewers, we also had a nice evening meal at the small restaurant of the b&b over the road. Limited menu but tasty food and friendly service.
We had a great a time in this family hosted Villa. Maja, Marco and the rest of the hosts were very kind and polite. Marco spent time with us to plan our tour to the park and it was really the best route. The location near E3 to the park seem to be perfect location to start the tour.
The owner of the hotel offered the best service one can have. It was a very cozy place with a country side feeling, but still really closed to the entrance. Breakfast was served at the time you wished. You could enjoy sweet and beautiful pets while eating outside.
Everything was perfect! The owners of this hotel are the nicest people and they also have a little kitten called Thom. We loved it here and would recommend it to anyone who wants to visit the Plitvice lakes. Location is incredible and the rooms are wonderful
Delicious dinner in the on site restaurant. Breakfast had so many choices I wanted to have a second one! Staff were helpful telling us about the “secret” third entrance to the national park in Plitvica Selo and running us through the best itinerary.
Everything and everyone was soo nice we absolutly loved our stay. Definitely gonna go back some day. The food and drinks were amazing! The owners soo friendly and polite. Lokation&Hotel is beautiful!
Loved the location so near a 'secret' entrance to the park. The couple making breakfast was lovely and the breakfast was outstanding. Gardens were in bloom and offered a great place for a meditation
Great stay at this charming hotel. Staff was awesome and very hospitable. Breakfast was good. Room was spacious and comfortable. Location was short walk to one of the park entrances. It was perfect.
Stunning location. Peaceful. Setup in a way you feeling your visiting an old friend as opposed to a hotel. Yet had all the amenities of a hotel. And the food is amazing!
Amazing experience. This (the hotel and the lakes) was a highlight of our visit to Croatia! The staff was exceptionally friendly, and the food was great.
