The hotel seems to be a recently opened one, it looks amazing, very modern, the room is big and comfortable, same applies for the bathroom. The location is just perfect, it is in the city center, walking distance to the castle, restaurants are next door. The staff was very nice and helpful, we had a late check-in and it went very smoothly. I can only recommend this place.

It is a small town with nothing much to do, more so since it was 1 January and everything was closed. The Church of the Sacred Heart in the centre of the town is absolutely stunning inside. Kőszeg is a nice, tiny town at the Austro-Hungarian border. There are beautifully renovated houses from the 17-18. century in downtown and, of course, the Fortress. The churches are also beautiful. The main one at Fő tér is under reconstruction. Locals are friendly and helpful. I owe many thanks to one of them (Barbara, from the Hair and Beauty Salon near Tesco and Penny Markt) who helped me find a new accomodation after I had realized the one I booked was out of question.VikiHungary

Even if one side of the structure overlooks the street, the area is sufficiently quiet and privacy is guaranteed. Inside the apartment we found the necessary for the stay (towels, dishes, detergents...) and we were also given a card to park for free nearby. Mr. Jósef is the owner of the establishment and he is really kind and patient! I recommend the apartment because the experience was very positive 🏡🫶🏻
