Dingle is a compact town on the southern side of the eponymous peninsular. It has a plethora of bars, restaurants, shops and cafes. At the waterfront are a number of businesses offering boat trips and there is an aquarium. Dingle is at the start of the Slea Head Drive, a tour around the peninsular visiting many interesting sites and exploring the wonderful scenery in this part of the world. However, once these are done there's not much to occupy you beyond more food and drink, or listening to music in those places offering you food and drink! Having said that, it is very good food indeed, with wonderful seafood almost everywhere. The local beer is also very good and makes a change from the omnipresent Guinness.
I'd recommend three to four nights max.

This was my first time in Dingle and I absolutely loved it!
I stayed there for three days exploring the area and I will certainly come back when I have the chance. Dingle town is so lively and the Slea Head loop drive is one of the most magical places I've seen. I stopped at every viewing point, archaeological site, and other points of interest.
Truly, truly magical - specially when it's sunny!

What a gorgeous place. We loved it. Great gate away for family. So many things to see, lots restaurants, shops, an Aquarium etc. It is an artistic town in our point of view. So much to see like Dingle Peninsula, there is a beach as well. It's a friendly lovely town. One night was not enough.

At least two breathtaking coastal drives start in Dingle and we really enjoyed doing them both. It was also easy to access a range of beautiful and deserted beaches (this was in March though) and to visit nearby towns and villages.

Staff are amazing, beds thick and comfy with very modern ensuite - plenty of hot water / tea and coffee supplies. Breakfast served on hot plates the best Irish breaky I have had in Ireland with array of cereals and fruit, take your pick from a menu. Great location just 5 min walk from the heart of Dingle. Amazing lit up bar for celebrations of all sorts. Very welcoming hotel. Money for value and they take payments over the phone. Hotel also has a 14 bed room for large group events and traveling through backpackers.
Located in lovely town on the Dingle Peninsula. Had dedicated parking, easily accessible. Rooms were very clean, beautiful, and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was delicious, with some of the best bread and mini mince pies we had on the entire trip. Hosts Lorcán and Fergel were very kind and gregarious and offered helpful advice for local restaurants, bars, and a look a lot the gorgeous Henry Clarke stained glass in the chapel right around the corner from the guesthouse.
Vivian is a most welcoming host. Our room was lovely, great Dingle Bay view with comfortable bedding and sitting area. She prepared marvelous breakfasts on our 3 day visit with the addition of cereals, breads, fresh fruit and yogurt...all one needed to set out for a day of sight seeing. We loved the location across from the bay and easy walking access in to town. Both Vivian and her assistant, Eleanor, were very professional AND welcoming, a wonderful combination!
Brownes B&B is a perfect place to stay in Dingle. From the B&B you can walk to Ventry (4 km) and to Dunquin (20km) through beautiful nature along the coast. The B&B is very comfortable and the outlook from our room (number 1) was excellent to the lake and the hills. The day started with a great breakfast in the kitchen presented by Camilla, the owner of the B&B. Camilla is an excellent host and a source of information about the Dingle peninsula.
Thanks Camilla!
Highly recommended. Had a wonderful stay here. Place is near the Brandon creek which was gorgeous. The house is near to slea head drive. The place was clean and affordable. The room was warm and the shower was lovely. The host was marvelous. She gave us tips how to travel dingle. They have a large farm with lambs and chicken and the owner was nice to let us hold their baby lamb. Nice play to stay to get away from the busy town. Would definitely comeback.
Great location to stay in Dingle. We had two families, 10 people total with four adults and six kids. This property was perfect for our needs. Big rooms and common areas and nice kitched and living rooms. The house is new and in really good shape. Location cant be beat for an easy walk into town less than half a mile. Would highly recommend and would stay again if we returned to Dingle
Perfect Location for Dingle town & going round the peninsula. The staff were very helpful & friendly. We have stayed in many places and this was definitely one of the best. The breakfast was suberb. The tea & coffee facilities were plentiful. We followed the owners recommendations about where to go & had a relaxing and amazing stay. Thank you to all the team at Capall Dubh.
The location for the Dingle Bay Hotel is spectacular. It's right on the main road and very accessible. Their breakfast service was attentive and delicious. The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff was helpful when pointing out dinner options or areas of the town to check out. They have a decent sized car parking lot in the back which was helpful.
Spacious, newly renovated room with comfortable bed and everything you could wish for available. The staff in the hotel were very friendly. As the weather wasn't too good we had dinner in the restaurant both nights and the food was delicious. Breakfast was very good. Great location for visiting Dingle town and the peninsular
This hotel is a hidden gem. We booked last minute for 2 nights and both nights we had dinner in the hotel. The food is absolutely beautiful and so is the breakfast. Perfect location to explore the dingle peninsula and slea head area. We have stayed in kerry many times and would find it hard to beat An Ceann Sibeal.
Lovely traditional cottage with half door and sweeping mountain views from the large kitchen. Easy drive to Ballydavid, Ballyferriter and Dingle approx ten minutes each, and all the sights of the stunning Dingle peninsula. Darragh was a very helpful and gracious host. We would love to stay again.
The An Capall Dinh B&B Dingle B&B is an excellent place to stay while visiting the Dingle peninsula.. our only regret is that we didn’t stay more days. The breakfast is outstanding with lots of great choices. Elena is an outstanding hostess with great knowledge of the culture and history.
Baywatch B&B is right in the middle of Dingle, and has off street parking, making it ideal for walking around the town and finding dinner. Our host offered a cooked breakfast, and we chose French toast which was beautifully cooked. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.
We've been travelling around Ireland and have stayed in several hotels and bed and breakfasts. Dingle Garden Townhouse was easily our favourite. The staff, the room, the breakfast, the location.... Everything was just lovely and we would definitely go back.
It's located in a farm but the room was super clean and tidy. Ample space and only 5min drive from the town. You need a car to stay here. Quiet and comfortable beds. Super good value when compared to the other properties within Dingle town area.
Everything about the hotel was fab. Beautiful room overlooking Dingle Bay. Amazing staff esp Katie on reception. The hotel is so central. Walking distance to all amenities.
Stephen was super helpful with tips about where to go in town and on the peninsula. Breakfast was very good, and there was complementary chocolate cake at check-in.
The rooms were large and had a lovely view of the town and bay of Dingle. Located a short walk into town centre. Host was lovely and welcoming. Breakfast was good.
Charming hotel located at the edge of Dingle. The rooms were large, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was fantastic. Would definitely stay here again.
