I thought I was staying at a hotel next to the airport. This was the only reason for booking there (my flight got in at 02.00, and I wanted somewhere to crash before going on to Hyderabad itself). It’s actually 4 miles from the airport, and in an area where there seem to be a few cheap hotels and not a lot else.

The highways are excellent.
The highways are excellent. But once you step out of the highway the roads are pathetic, full of potholes. There are flies everywhere, the place is not hygienic. Most of the nearby restaurants are not attractive to visitors.

Don't book rooms from booking.com as I have seen what they promise we don't get that. They showcase different and when you reach property you will not get the facilities reflected in their app. When I went to for chekin they didn't allow me and I have to wait for 2 hours

The street I stayed was teeming with professional beggars who were not averse to cursing you when you asked them why they were asking for money shamelessly. The whole place is noisy and dusty. There is good street food and some excellent restaurants, but I would not say the place is lovely. There was even a prepaid Airtel office where the person cheated me five hundred rupees and never recharged the phone. Since I was in a hurry, I could not go back.
