Extremely dissapointed with the room. The chef was arrogant. Rooms are extremely small for 6 bed dorm. Bathroom is extremely bad. Geyser wasn't working. Not at all well maintained. Hosteller and Zostel are 100X better

the two brothers (Himanshu and Bharat) were very kind to the the guests. we loved our stay at Karma Guest House and would recommend to the others. I didn’t expect the food to be this good on a mountain where things are hard to get your hands on. overall, i loved the place and the staff.
Tosh is a perfect location to chill around. There are plenty of pretty options to stay, hang out and chill out with your friends. You can visit different cafes trek to various nearby points and see the beautiful view of the mesmerizing Parvati valley.

The owner ( Tenzin negi ) showed great hospitality , we were ( group of 5) very much impressed.
We trekked to kutla from tosh with tenzin's team , had beautiful conversations along the way . On reaching the cottage we were greeted with complimentary snacks and tea . We stayed for a night there and enjoyed a lot , the owner arranged for a bonfire and some home cooked himachali food that too at a minimum expense .

Loved that there was poor network receptivity.
Loved that there was poor network receptivity. Forced us to disconnect from technology. Not that it was difficult, the scenic beauty of the surrounding landscape was awe-inspiring!
We took a cab from Manikaran to Tosh for 900/-. But one can go upto Barsheni for 600/- and then walk the 4-5 odd km from there to Tosh. One can also just trek the 16 odd km from Manikaran to Tosh if one has the endurance for it. One can also just take a bus from Manikaran to Barsheni; they run at regular intervals.
Kheer ganga's hot springs are one of the main attractions there. We were told the trek was about 3 hours. We took about 5-6 with brief stops. If you're going from Tosh to Kheer ganga, it might make more sense to stay the night and trek back the next day. We had to return the same day though and it was a bit tight.

It is a small place which is surrounded with snow cap mountains. It best place for camping and enjoy the sky. If you are planning for Kheerganga then Tosh can be your base. Apart from this there are lot of unexplored place which can be discovered from Tosh.
Thing you should keep in mind:
Do visit this place if you love to hike
Don't carry trolley bags since there are stairs and steeps where you cannot roll your trolley
