Nice city, a lot of restaurants and shops, train station, buses, hospital, parks - anything one might need.
95% of beaches are private. You have to pay 35-70€ per 2 bed and umbrella per day. Sand beach, ideal for kids, as the sea is flat first 15m.
Parking is a challenge! So it is better to book a hotel with the parking.

Nice beaches, however be sure to investigate available spots on your favourite beach before arrival. We went to the public beach in the neighbour town which was really nice. The public beaches of Alassio are not as nice and very crowded. Nice atmosphere and many testaurants by the sea.

I would return again. Very friendly and beautiful.
I would return again. Very friendly and beautiful. The new ripple are kind n helpful. The beaches were all over the town and eateries on the water front as well as in the town. Transport around Alassio was free and convenient. I would check if the hotel was on a hill or in the flat ground when I return and I will.

Loved every minute and wished I had stayed longer.
Loved every minute and wished I had stayed longer. A lovely town with lots of charm, shops, parks, playgrounds etc. we got the train/bus to nearby towns and explored the area. There were several supermarkets nearby and a local market on Saturday. Restaurants were along the Lungomare and up as far as the pier. The neighbourhood was family oriented and safe. The Lido pizzeria and restaurant was very good value and lovely food.

Beautiful seaside town. Beautiful beaches and shops.
Beautiful seaside town. Beautiful beaches and shops. Wonderful beachfront hotels. High end but still wonderful for families. You can walk far out in the water and still stand. Water not too cold. More of an affluent beach town.
Very nice beach walk that runs a very long distance. Pretty town. Was once vacation destination of the affluent English who built villas here.
I love Alassio. This is where my parents (from Piemonte) vacationed when they were younger.

Very nice resort.
Very nice resort. Not too crowded though - just golden middle. Shops and bars working till late. There are lots of beaches, but if your facility cannot grant you a bench, better look for placed closer to Zero beach, since this is the only public beach. And question is not about money - there are simply no available benches. You simply cannot get one even if there are plenty of empty benches. One of the guys explained, that they are booked for whole months and nobody can use them even if they stay empty.
Simple and was good for our one night pit stop. No frills just a basic hotel. Beds were comfortable. Bath was modern.could do with a change of bed covers to give it a more updated look.
Breakfast was very basic as well nothing to rave about. Location just across from the beach. Suited our needs as we just on our way back home and needed to break our journey. Not our kind of a hotel for a long stay but if on a tight budget it serves its purpose.
Fantastic breakfast, selection of sweet things as typical in Italy. The homemade "Baci de Alassio" were squisito! The location is great and the two brothers running the show were super friendly. Room was super clean as was the private shower. For the price and location, more than exceeded expectations, would love to come back to Hotel Mignon when back in Alassio!
It’s right on the beach, you can hear the waves and can see the sea from the balcony. The hotel is very well staffed and everyone was super polite and helpful. While the rooms are quite outdated and minimalistic, the room and bathroom were perfectly clean, as were all communal areas of the hotel. We were more than happy with our stay.
Very interesting building, greatly preserved. From nice pictures in main hallway one can see that it is one of the first buldings in this part of Alassio, from the beginning of XX century. Very nice standard and super friendly staff. It is close to the beach and sourounded by beautifull garden.
Excellent location, directly on the beach. Very friendly and professional staff. Breakfast was included in our rate, and it was excellent, including scrambled eggs (which we really appreciated as we were cycling and needed a hearty breakfast).
The location is amazing - right on the beach, near the restaurants and cafes, but also very quiet.
Very helpful personnel, great breakfast, roof top with a stunning view.
I definitely recommend this hotel!
Amazing family operated hotel, on a quite street, walking distance to beach and city center. Our room had exceptional view, breakfasts were good, private gated parking definitely helpful.
Very well located close to the beach and public life - the hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff very helpful. The hotel will be a treasured find for future visits to Alassio
Great location between train station and beach and shops. Very well equipped apartment. Nice and clean and a pleasure to stay in. Staff friendly and very helpful
Fantastic authentic experience in an exceptional building directly on the beach. Very convenient for the train station also. Very friendly and helpful hosts.
