Absolutely lovely. The family that runs this beautiful hotel make guests feel like cherished friends. We opted for dinner with them one evening and it was excellent. The pasta was some of the best I've had in Italy.

Reasonable value for a somewhat short notice booking during the truffle festival.
Liked the wineries and restaurants in the area. Had a tasting of hazelnut products in town.
Would have like more time to do the underground Alba tour of the Roman remains of the old town.
Would loved to have done a tour of the Ferrero factory but that is not an option. Loved that the smell of Nutella was in the air as soon as we got out of the car in the carparks outside of the pedestrian centre,

Beautiful city!
Beautiful city! We did the Alba underground tour to explore the roman and medieval ruins. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and emerged us into the ancient history of Alba. The truffle festival was the an excellent peak: amazing food and wine!

Visited during the excitement of the international white truffle fair and Alba was full of life and culture! The food and wine we had here was the best we had in all of Italy. Do not miss Alba if you’re looking for authentic Italy.

Thanks to central location in the area, Alba is ideal base for wine trips, bike trips, etc.

I have traveled all over Italy and Piedmont especially Alba...
I have traveled all over Italy and Piedmont especially Alba is a real gem. This was my fourth time to the Alba area and while it had been 9 years since my last stay little had changed except it got better! Alba and its people are charming, elegant, friendly, welcoming with beautifully preserved buildings, streets and shops. The surrounding hill towns for 50 plus kilometres all around are full of beautiful sites, people, wine and food. The history of Alba and Piedmont in general is very interesting particularly for its role in Italian confederation in 1862. It is so much better priced than other more popular tourist destinations in Italy. On top of that the scenery in the Langhe region is stunning and breathtakingly beautiful. The regional food is as good as it gets and the red wine is very affordable and the best in Italy for our tastes. I highly recommend to everyone to visit this under appreciated part of Italy as often as you can. I WILL be back!!
Giorgio the host greeted me personally as I arrived. He is a great guy and we had a good chat including some restaurant recommendations which turn out to be fantastic. It is only a couple of minutes walk from train and bus stations, and another couple of minutes walk to town centre. The modern apartment is beautifully designed (by the host himself) stocked with everything I needed and more. If I come to Alba again I will stay here only, and I will tell all my friends visiting Alba to stay here too!
We had stayed in a dirty apartment in Annency, France ( la rivage di julie) for 6 days with our dogs. Problems from the beginning with the host.
When we arrived in Alba in Ca' d'la trifola we were suddenly reminded that there are hosts that take pride in taking care of their properties.
Everything was clean and in perfect shape. There were plenty of towels, soap, coffee etc. It was very comfortable and it made our stay much more enjoyable.
The host was fantastic. I recommend it highly!
Nice apartment with a generous size in an excellent location, making it easy to walk around Alba, as well as convenient to the train station. Room was equipped with everything we needed whilst there for 5 nights & was comfortable. Bathroom a little on the small size, and especially the shower - getting in & out of it required some maneuvering. Host communicated well with instructions sent via WhatsApp and were quite clear & concise. Self check in was very easy.
The room was large and nice. The breakfast was a highlight; never ending and unique options are offered (probably the best breakfast we had during our trip to northwest Italy). The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the gentleman in particular has a great outgoing personality. Walking up the hill toward the small village was a bonus. We also enjoyed visiting nearby Alba city center and the village of Neive.
Amazingly serene. Beautiful little escape near the town of Alba. We went to attend the truffle festival in the town center which was fantastic (wine and truffles!), but this B&B was nice enough to never leave it if you just wanted rest and relaxation. The hostess was so helpful and cooked us an amazing breakfast. Charming place. Helpful staff. Enjoyed it very much!
The hotel is amazing , the family that owns the place is super nice and gracious they are attentive to all the needs of the guests always helpful with any question. The rooms are in a high maintenance. Also the property and the breakfast is super nice with fresh bakes the location is perfect. And the views are amazing. You can’t get enough.
Basic hotel with no charm but the room was clean, comfortable and very spacious. The location was great - 10 minutes walk to the main streets of Alba and the hotel has a free parking lot. Bonus point: the hotel manager speaks perfect English and French! Great value for money for a short stay.
Great location, lovely room!! The hotel is near from different places to have lunch, dinner or just have a glass of wine. You also can move to Barolo and other wine zones in a few minuts. Andrea, the host, was absolutely kind!! For sure a place to come back anytime.
The staff here was so kind and friendly! The location was close to many restaurants and shops, but the ability to use bikes to get into the center of Alba was a wonderful addition to the stay. The breakfast was excellent, and the parking was safe and easy!
We loved our stay at this B&B just outside the city of Alba. The staff was very welcoming, the property is lovely with a nice patio, our room was spacious and comfortable (with good AC!), and the excellent homemade breakfast was the icing on the cake.
Great location a few minutes walk to the city center. A well equipped and stocked kitchen. It was nice to have more room than a typical hotel room as well as a nice private outdoor space and laundry facilities. Very secure parking under the building.
Simple accomodation in church dormitory. Very central location in Alba, with parking. All restaurants, bars, bakeries, shops in walking distance. Helpful staff. Room was clean, bed comfortable. No sound isolation, so better to use earplugs.
The house is welcoming, clean and exactly what we needed for our weekend trip. It's easy to get to the Alba truffle fair with a car from here. The hosts were kind and made sure the house was heated up and that we had everything we needed.
Great location - walkable to several restaurants in Alba. Very reasonably priced compared to other hotels in the area. Breakfast was excellent - can add scrambled eggs to continental breakfast for no fee. Free parking. Clean room.
Brilliant location, easy access to everything in Alba. Plenty of bars, restaurants close by. Bakery 2 minutes walk.
Helpful host who spoke good english
Lots of space and lovely roof terrace.
Secure parking on site
Was called by hotel to arrange the check in, very friendly staff. explaining everything including parking which can be tricky in Alba. Nice, simple, clean, all good!
Excellent communication with owner for entry. Wonderful facilities in flat, including garage parking. Very well located for local shops and for walking into Alba.
