The location was perfect for a quiet start to go hiking. Views were awesome, in the middle of the nature but also only a 30 minute walk from the nice little village of Cogne where they had many cute stores and restaurants. Loved the private little balcony we had and the views of the glacier. Also wonderful to fall asleep listening to the rapids.

Breakfast was great. The chef also every day bakes his own pastries. Also various cereals, breads and topings, as well as different fresh fruit. Dinner... amazing!! We were a group of 9 (had 5 out of the 7 rooms) and first thought we would have dinner in town every second evening. In the end we had dinner "at home" on 6 of the 7 nights. The dinner was creative, beautiful to look at .... but even more delicious! Great choice of wines too. The rooms are quite simple, but very clean. Good shower. Also a desk where you can work at.
