The friendly and helpful staff. They showed us the way to park our cars and allowed us to store our luggage for an extra night even though we did not stay at their hotel.

Fantastic location. Lovely nature and superb hospitality. We enjoyed it thoroughly. On request, they had offered vegetarian meal and it was excellent. Our special thanks to the chef and his team. We will surely come back for a longer stay.

Highest hotel in Japan, third highest in the world (as claimed by the hotel). Fantastic view, great dinner and comfortable rooms. Hotel also organise snow wall walk, sunrise tour and star gazing for guests. Also free use of snow boots and poles.
Rooms have WC/toilets but no shower facilities. But there is a nice public bath / onsen at the hotel.

I loved my stay at Hotel Torni. I stayed with my family, as it was cheap and we were only there for one night. But it was great. Huge room and bathroom, bed was super comfy. I was able to connect my phone to the TV and use free wifi. And had a simple but filling breakfast delivered to the room in the morning. You can notice features of a love hotel, however this shouldn't deter you from booking as everything was clean, discreet and can still be a great stay for a regular group of family or friends.
