This property is amazing value for the proximity with the Fushimi inari shrine and allows to go for a hike in the early morning before it gets very crowded. Easy checkin at any time with a lockbox and great equipment in the room (kitchen, washing machine, bathroom with drying capabilities). The host was also very responsive about our queries.

Location was perfect for the usual tourist sightseeing and a stone throw from tons of eating places, including the ones on famous Pontocho alley. Our room was very clean, enough spacious and, very important for jet lagged travelers, very quiet. Reception staff was very helpful and English speaking, luggage forward to next hotel was a breeze (and also prompt forwarding of a pair of shoes forgotten in the room:) )
