We chose a Mt Fuji view room and while I did not really expect to see Fuji, it was completely visible from the room's small window in the morning.
The bus stop is right outside the hotel.

Location was so near the train station only take a few minutes walk, staff was so helpful and friendly. We had an upper floor room and it’s big enough for us. In the other morning when we opened the curtains we see a beautiful Fuji Mountain just like in front of us, we’re so excited and happy. About the breakfast we had was so delicious.

A little jewel right between Mt Fuji and the pacific.
A little jewel right between Mt Fuji and the pacific. Still quite popular with fans of a certain anime, but I would argue that the town is a lot better than that. Friendly people, cosy neighbourhoods, lively market streets, and a beach that is not only the longest in Japan, but perhaps also the most beautiful. In one view, you can see the pacific, the Japanese alps and Mt Fuji. Add a sunset over the mountains, and you have the view of a lifetime (see photo of a decent example). You can get the train to Numazu, or the Shinkansen to nearby Mishima, and from Numazu you are 1h to Mt Fuji or any of the five lakes, or 30 mins to the onsens of Izu.

We stopped by Numazu to check out the Numazu Deep Sea Aquarium. It was pretty interesting, and there seemed to be a lot of nearby fish markets/seafood stores. There was also a lot of "Love Live! Sunshine" stuff in general around the area, so good for fans of the series.

The views of Mount Fuji were unbeatable, however, it is a track if you are coming from Tokyo city, just plan well and make sure you work out the different connections. Also if you are coming from Tokyo city and stopping at Mishima, do allocate a bit of time there as there is loads to see, do and eat at Mishima.
Once you get to Numazu, if you are like us seeking just relaxation, you probably just end up staying at your Onsen.
This was one of my favorite hotel stays ever. The hostel is in a really untouched little village that is still full of charm and authenticity. I wound up staying two extra nights, and then two more extra nights. With a perfect view and friendly staff, it was impossible to leave. When I did finally have to head back to Tokyo, the owner overheard me mentioning I was catching the bus and offered me a ride to the train (he was heading that way anyway).
Like most people who have visited, I cannot wait to stay at Tagore again.
We have booked two nights in Numazu, because it was cheap and it was easier to do one day trip from here (Kawaguchiko, Kawazu waterfalls, Hakone). It has a 24/7 reception, which was very important to us as we arrived little bit after midnight. The staff is super friendly and helpful and the anemities are excellent. Coffee for free available at the reception, there was also a shelf with hygiene stuff (hair rubber bands, shavers, hairbrushes, ear picks etc). There is a possibility of brekfast.
- Great location, only 3-min walk from Numazu Station, very convenient for travelling.
- Modern facilities, clean and tidy, good shampoo and facial foam provided.
- Breakfast is good considering the price, with roasted fish as the main dish.
- Friendly Staff, and some of them can speak English!
- And even a greater place if you are a "Lovelive!" fan!
A beautiful near new hotel with large modern rooms. The lobby was very stylish. Kind and considerate staff. Nice bathroom with plenty of free amenities if needed. A large king size bed, which is rare in Japan. Very close to the Numazu JR station (north side).
Free breakfast, nice staff, great location. Many local restaurants nearby. Short walk to station. Comfy bed and large bathtub. Can even see part of mt. fuji
Room is very clean and the bathroom is clean. Has elevated parking lot and charged 800 JYP per day.
Friendly and Care Taking Staff. I felt like a King even on a budget. The location was beautiful with a nearby Bus Stop to move across Numazu. The nearest convenience store is a little far out. But walking around, feels nostalgic and peaceful.
The view is amazing, the town is really chill and down to earth, local people are lovely. The owner also organize this party once a year called Head for Heda which is worth looking for, especially if you have kids.
room is large with twin beds one is 3.5’ and one with 5 ‘
the hotel is new.
reception is on the second floor
there are parking building at the back of the hotel ,they had plenty of parking space.
The desk was large enough, the bathroom was spacious and clean, the power sockets were well placed and easy to use, and the hotel offered good value for money!
The staff can hardly understand any English, but it is understandable.
There is a big parking lot in front. The hotel itself is quite old but very clean.
The hotel was up in the hill. The road came down to the bay wasn't a road for pedestrians. The hotel was kind and drove us up and down the hill everyday.
