The apartment is super functional and close to everything in Kilifi. It's clean, has AC and fans, a well equipped kitchen and a small balcony for a morning coffee. Everything worked. The compound also felt safe and in a calm area. Very good value for money.

We went just before the main holiday season.

We went just before the main holiday season. Streets very quiet and most hotels/homes empty. This was lovely as we had great freedom to come and go. Didn’t spend much time at the back packers Distant Relatives as it was far from the beach. We are at a local beach bar. The people were welcoming and friendly. Paid Kah1000 for a fish meal. Easy to catch bodabodas. Don’t pay more than ksh200 per trip.

Kilifi is a lovely, peaceful place near the ocean, with several good and inexpensive food options around - try Village Dishes near the main stage, and Ocean Food Court, or Kilifi Members Club (good food but service is very slow there!)

The location was amazing being right off the beach, the facilities was also incredible. I felt very comfortable staying at Salty's. I was able to fully chill out and not worry about a thing; It was also easy to talk to other people at the bar if you are feeling social. The food at Salty's was exquisite!! It changes everyday depending on what's available. The bar is very chill; everyone provided exceptional chill and friendly service. In terms of activities, they offer massages, sailing as well as onsite Kitesurfing instructors if you want to learn kitesurfing. Salty's also have a list of trusted tuktuks, taxis which made getting around easy. I would highly recommend staying!

KILIFI is quite so for those who want a calm place to relax don't hesitate. KILIFI has in crowded beaches where you can enjoy the beach with less congestion. KILIFI:s local/ traditional foods are amazing and the people too are very friendly. You can actually visit locals and see how they live.

Kilifi is a small town that has all the nececssary services required for the local and the international traveller within easy reach . It has a well-stocked supermarket and both private and public health facilities are close to the hotel. There is a decent eatery called Salty's at the Kitesurfing school that is a walk from the resort by road or on the beach - However, it is pricey for the quality and quantity but has the benefit of a couple of new items on the menu daily. The town has local eating places with very fresh and tasty local food as well as the regular continental snacks. There are motorcycle taxis readily available outside the resport. A taxi can also be organised by the hotel. Do note that the nightlife and dining is very limited so get set for R & R

Kilifi is an up-and-coming area along the coast with a more local and laid-back vibe than the main city. Getting around can be hard, so definitely worth hiring a car or renting one. There are many beautiful places to explore, but many of them are off the beaten path (making them that much more beautiful!). Definitely eat at "The Food Movement" for Breakfast or Lunch one day, and if you want a nice view then there is always Nautilus for sunset and dinner. Distant Relatives is great for Friday Pizza night, swimming in the creek, and other general events. Salty's is definitely the new best place for drinks on the beach and access to a chill hangout spot on the coast. Don't forget to stop by "Wild Living Hub" on your way in or out to pick up some local products!
