Room was large and had a spa bath. The staff was friendly and helpful. Car parking was right by the hotel and was free. I think the room could do with some improvements, specially the bathroom which is huge but had no place to put your toiletries.
It is reasonably.clean and the price was very good

Daejeon was a very nice city and a person could do a lot of great shopping there if that’s their interest. I went to the Yousong Spa and had a great experience. There are quite a few sites just beyond the outskirts of the city too. The bus system was very easy to navigate as well. Mine was a January/winter trip so I didn’t get to see all the city has to offer. It is worth a return trip though.

I only get to travel for a day so I cannot really describe Daejeon. But from research, I would definitely love to come back and try more things. I took the City Tour Bus and it is quite different from other city tour buses I have tried in Korea. Daejeon City Tour Bus has "theme" per day and you get to travel with a group. One bus will be waiting while you go around the place and we also had our own tour guide. Maybe it is only on weekdays and on weekends you get to go to different places on your own pace.
Very convenient, within a few minutes walk from the Jungangro Station, which is also a station away from Daejeon Station (we took the KTX to Daejeon). The room is quite big which is something different from the guesthouse where I used to stay, and even the bathroom is big. The amenities provided are sufficient and wifi is good. There's also breakfast provided, European style such as bread, eggs, sausages and fruits. There's cleaning done everyday so get to return to a clean room after coming back from our outing.
The staff was really nice, and they even organized our trip to the next hotel. Also they could speak very good English :)
The breakfast was simple and really delicious.
Also as a Coffee drinking person, it was nice, that you could get free Coffee 24/7.
Another great thing was that the next Subway station was only 5min away from the location.
The room was very clean and was cleaned every day. Also the prepared drinks in the small fridge in the room was refilled every day :)
Rooms were very big and spacious, and the bed was huge. It was very comfortable and quiet. The bathroom was also spacious and well equipped. Overall, the room experience was wonderful. Location-wise, it's not very near other things in Daejeon, but very convenient as it's near the subway, and has a convenience store right at the entrance.
The empress was the best accommodation that we have stayed at in South Korea. The breakfast was good, the staff were friendly. It's very close to a metro and convenience stores or pharmacy. Restaurants are plentiful in the area. The room was large and clean. The shower was hot with lots of water pressure. Highly recommended.
Breakfast was diverse, adequate options. The hotel is very nice, sleek, super friendly staff. Location is great for science/technology environment, newer part of the city and very modern and interesting. I was there on business and would have enjoyed the opportunity to explore more for leisure. Will be happy to return.
This is not a hotel nor a motel. It's like a very old one room oficetel. There is no front desk and no staff. It's reasonably clean, but there were a few small towels. No bath towel, no coffee, and not even drinking water. I accidentally left my electric toothbrush there. No luck with this place.
The hotel was in a "new" part of town and seemed pretty fresh overall. We were pleasantly surprised that there was a massage parlor in the hotel and several nearby restaurants. There is also a supposed food street nearby - we went to the new downtown at night, so I think we missed it.
The venue of the hotel is in the center. Easy to reach malls, banks, restaurants and buses and taxis.
But facilities of the room need to be fixed.
We visited hotel in August, but we saw X-mas tree in the entrance full of dust. (
Staff is very helpful and location is very close to Korea Institute of Nuclear Safety and KAIST. Subway is only 300-400 metre from the Hotel. A computer is available in the room. Finally, it is very clean.
The hotel offered a good value for money. Staff was helpful; room was comfortable; public transportation was available in the vicinity of the hotel. I would stay at this hotel again.
Good breakfast at reasonable price - range of Korean and Western food available.
Well located, clean, comfortable, quiet.
Underground car-parking facilities and helpful attendant.
