Palanga is Lithuania’s busiest seaside resort and is located on the Baltic Sea. However, it comes with a seasonal personality due to it being a peaceful paradise during winter before transforming into a dynamic party town in summer.
The town offers great sightseeing around the quiet forested sand dunes of Birutė Hill, the stretch of sandy beaches and the Palangas Botanical Garden that features the old Tiškevičiai Palace, home to the Amber Museum.
Palanga is forever reforming; this is evident in the lively heart of the city Basanavičiaus gatvė, a pedestrian street with a mix of traditional wooden and red-brick houses and contemporary shops, restaurants, bars, and nightclubs.
In summer be sure to check-out the list of events at the Open-Air Concert Hall, whilst Basanavičiaus gatvė Pier is a perfect starting point for a stroll or a cycle before seeing the sunset from the pier.
Booking.com offers a wide range of hotels and apartments in the heart of Palanga, Klaipėda, Šventoji and throughout Lithuania. Palanga Airport offers direct flights to Riga, Oslo, Moscow, and Copenhagen.

This was 4th or 5th time we have stayed at that place (Vila Saule). We like this location between Botanical Garden and Basanavičiaus (pedestrian) street, as it's very centered and takes just a few minutes to walk to the sea. The location is quiet and peaceful, but with all the nicest cafes and the most necessary shops right here. We have stayed in many different rooms (usually for 3 persons) on different occasions, and they were always super clean and had all the necessary equipment. The hosts are kind and helpful, so if you need any additional amenities, just ask them. Free parking is convenient. We look forward to coming here next year.

It's a very touristy, chic town with an amazing, miles long sand beach as well as an entertainment oriented city center.
If you're looking for a genuine picture of people living their live or want to connect with nature, this is not the town to visit.
But if you're looking to be entertained, party or relax on one of the nicest, cleanest beaches on the Baltic sea with all the amenities one could hope for, then Palanga has you covered.

Beautiful Baltic seaside resort city.
Beautiful Baltic seaside resort city. Town center is very cosy, compact and walkable. Lots of small shops and restaurants on the way to the beach. Great coniferous forest park area with walking trails along the seaside. Sandy beach is clean and can be accessed from all parts of the city. The pier and observation wheel definitely worth visiting. Not far away from the Dutchman's hat, but it worth taking the car or bike. Crowdy in the summer and peaceful throughout the rest of the year.

i have been going to palanga for 16 years there as not been much don to inferstukcher it lacks railway statin pavments are full of holes dont know what they spend pillow tax on .the main street to beach has not changed in 16 years . i would not eat food on that street as the cooks are not chefs . i would go to hotel to eat its ok for a drink in the many bars on that street . i wold not go in the summer as you want get on the beach . and another think its cheaper to go to spain as wee do but after september its ok .mots of the hotels are very tide now as they do not replace the old furnishings with new. as i have trid most of the hotels over the 16 years as my partner is lithuanian and i fly from uk evry mouth as she works ther and me in uk.
Location in a very pleasant and quiet place, in the heart of the conifer park and in the immediate vicinity of the beach. Breakfast was excellent, served in a beautiful atmosphere, the staff is very kind and friendly. Very clean room and bed linen. Nice and friendly staff. The terrace adjacent to the room was spacious and beautifully equipped for relaxation (table, chairs, swing...). We will definitely come back.
The room was as described, check in was fast and easy, staff excellent, food in bar restaurant good, food hot and well presented, staff checked covid passports which was good even though we had to show opportunity passports when checking in. I think this is acceptable during this pandemic. I along with my family will return as this is one of the best friendliest hotels we have stayed in Lithuania
This is a very good property located at the heart of Palanga. I do recommend if you come with kids, as it has queen bed and sofa bed, easily fitting 4 people. Furthermore, it comes with a parking space, inside the yard, which made our stay very comfy and relax.
I liked the good disposition of the owner, taking all the steps to make our stay great! Thank you very much and we will be back soon!
Location was good (only 10 minutes to the beach). Apartments were located in the new suburb "Mano Jūra 2". It looks fresh and has modern interior design. Free parking lot. Contactless key delivery. Not far away great resto with tasty food. As bonus for me especially there are not far away Palanga Airport, you can spot the aircrafts (there no noise in apartments because of that).
What a strange, wonderful place. Only in Lithuania (or Eastern Europe) will you find such a combination of features; fine dining restaurant (world class),historical building, boutique hotel, rooftop cocktail bar w/live music. Location very interesting; close to all the action; promenade, beach, pier, bicycle trail, yet separate from everything, standing alone.
The best accomodation we spent time during our stay in Lithuania. Sky Villa is a dreamy place in Palanga located in a quiet area which makes you feel so relaxed. The room was very spacious and cosy. The villa has a uniqe atmosphere which is convinient for families with children or groups of friends. Staff is very friendly. Everything is so clean and new.
Great location. Right in front of a pine forest then opens to the beach traditional Lithuania summer house. Less then 10 minutes walking distance from the central and pier. Safe and free car parking is provided. Friendly family run business. We really enjoyed our stay with our 18 months old, everything was so close to the property.
The property was at a great location. We had a big group of people with us and the room that we were staying was very spacious. The accommodation had everything we needed. Also the owner helped with a problem we had and sorted everything really effectively. Would definitely book this place again the next time we visit Palanga
Small and cosy hotel in a good location, not far from the city center and the beach. Nice and clean rooms, comfortable beds, and most importantly - caring staff. We did not use the balcony much as it was rather cold during our stay, but the balcony/terrace is a nice bonus space for a family breakfast or a cup of coffee..
It was our second stay at the hotel and we were pleased with it again. We could finally use spa facilities, which we did not have a chance to try last year due to covid restrictions. Spa was a nice add to our stay. Reception staff were always smiley and helpful. Top cleanliness. Superb location.
Excellent location - close to the beach, next to the park, close to the main streets, restaurants, quiet , rooms are comfortable, lots of space. Front desk was really professional, very nice , helpful. Stayed second time there and willing to come back. Definitely will recommend.
The building looks tidy, with a good location and really neat and nice common areas. Good parking, as long as you don't get a space at the very corner of the car park to exit from, as long as all the parking spaces around it are occupied, you really need driving skills :)
The hotel is in a great central location with spa services. Please keep in mind that when the listing says you have access to the spa if you book for the day it is just for the following morning from 8am to check out otherwise you need to pay additional fees
Everything was excellent. :) Room was very spacious with comfortable beds, reception people were extremely helpfull, breafast very delicious. I recomend this hotel for everyone for nice and relaxing stay in Palanga. Very happy, hope to come back soon :)
Good location and value for the money. Very good breakfast! Clean and spacious rooms! Large balconies. But no parking lots, before you arrive check parking opportunities. Hotel provided contacts of private parking nearby for 10€ per 24 hours
Great place to stay. Short walking distance from the beach. The territory is gated, and it has a dedicated parking space. Great place for those who are looking to have a calm rest, especially with a family.
My parents stayed here for half a week. Their feedback is very good for the hotel, the team and the location. Easy access to all major sites and the beach
Great apartment for stay in Palanga. Quiet neighborhood, parking space, new building. Very cozy and nice decorated. The owner was very nice and friendly!
