Mon Choisy Beach R., hotel in Balaclava

This resort features an outdoor pool with sun loungers overlooking Mon Choisy beach. These spacious, air-conditioned rooms include patios overlooking the resort's gardens or the Mon Choisy lagoon.

-Location is amazing with few minutes walk along the beach you get to the Mon Choisy (in my opinion best beach I’ve seen in Mauritius). It is also an ideal location to visit northern part of Mauritius and Port Louis. - We stayed in the room with ocean view which was so worth it. -Very helpful and friendly staff -Parking on site

Seapoint Boutique Hotel, hotel in Balaclava

Seapoint Boutique Hotel is a luxury Boutique hotel situated in Pointe aux Cannoniers, Mauritius. Nestled on the shore of one of most peaceful and beautiful beaches on the island.

The hotel its nice , but definitely overpriced. It’s very small and a bit far from everything. U need a car to move . The food in restaurant it’s very expensive, but breakfast was nice , but everyday the same things . Ménager of the hotel was super nice and helpful! I recommend but definitely is not 4 stars hotel .

Balaclava is remote so no opportunity to walk anywhere.

Balaclava is remote so no opportunity to walk anywhere. We were fine with a good dinner and the occasional musician but some might find it boring. We used a driver but if not then you’d need a car to get round the island. It was cyclone season so mixed weather but in general the North of the island has drier sunnier weather than the South.

Balaclava is a very beautiful place if you are looking for calm, relaxation and quietness. If you'd like more happening, you might need to get a car to be able to move around or to chose another place like Port Louis or others...

    Staff: super friendly!!

Staff: super friendly!! Accommodation: clean 8/10, Bed: super comfortable, Dinner: very good but far to expensive for the island!! I really wouldn’t recommend the buffet for dinner! Breakfast is the only thing I’d criticize: no variety, no creativity, no changes, the quality of the food 5/10 Example: No pork bacon, vegetables: tomatoes and cucumbers ... that’s it, olives came picked and from the can... just not a 5 star Quality breakfast!!

Beautiful resort with views of the beach from the room.

Beautiful resort with views of the beach from the room. There was many things to do in the resort so one can spent all the time in the resort itself. The only problem we faced was with drinking water, it is delivered only once to your room and then only other option is in the room bar which can add to be really expensive. Otherwise highly recommended resort.

The Ravenala hotel was just amazing! Our room was super big, comfy with an amazing bed and view on the gardens. The breakfast options were great, you have plenty of different choices (vegan, childfriendly options...). The staff care was exeptional, always ready to help us with our requieries. The highlight of our stay was the special dinner that we had on the front deck on the waterfront, a lovely and romantic experience to enjoy as a couple! Highly recommend! Special thanks to Mr David and the staff for making it one of our best stays

We liked everything about our stay, but the following I want to highlight: The services, amount of activities to do at the hotel, the staff is super nice. I like the amount of choices for vegans for dinner. Rooms are very well cleaned. Entertainment team is great. Late check-out. And overall how much attention each staff member provides to the guests is amazing.

Wonderful hotel, their photographs don't do it justice, beautifully laid out planted low lying scheme with very private rooms with their own entrances and terraces, which work brilliantly if you want some time away from other guests. Not that it feels busy even when quite full! Plenty of sun-beds and places to relax outside. Great food with plenty of choice.

.The reception was on the slow side. It also took ages to get my room service the first evening. The food was outstanding and the service was excellent for the rest of my stay. Pity there is no swimming beach but the view is great. I missed having access to sea. I wont stay there for leasure but a fantastic place if you are on a business trip. To it

Beautiful location on the north-west of Mauritius with a great sunset panorama, large rooms, confortable beds, personnel very dedicated and attentive with customers. Also the 4 restaurants offered interesting and diverse culinarry attractions. The hotel has also tennis grounds, pinpong table, beach volleyball, diving and water sports club.

Visually a nice hotel, however, some staff were inattentive, room service food was the worst I’ve experienced, multiple issues with the room resulting in finally being re-roomed after several complaints/requests. Anno restaurant was superb, however main dining facilities were significantly below a 5 star service. WI-FI was also poor.

Brand new hotel so everything was in excellent condition and very clean and neat. The beds were the most comfortable that I have ever slept on in my life - this is not an exaggeration. Abundance of activities and kids club where your young kids can be looked after and occupied everyday with different activities
