My recent stay at Sikamifer tourist resort was good & satisfactory. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth by the attentive staff. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and I was impressed by the cleanliness and comfort of my room. The hotel's amenities met the basic requirements needed for the stay considering it’s a budget accommodation. There was access to gym, Hammam & Sauna, and kid’s corner (even though we didn’t used it). Throughout my stay, the staff went above and beyond to ensure that I had everything I needed. The central location of the hotel made it convenient for me to explore the island. Breakfast was included in the price. They were generous enough to offer us coffee on request at night when we learnt that the local shops are closed due to public holiday on 9th Apr. There is space for parking, but you need to handover the car keys so that staff can move the vehicle if some other guests want to park or remove their car.

Mountview Tourist Residence is set in Quatre Bornes, 500 metres from Trianon Shopping Park and has an outdoor swimming pool. Built in 1990, the property is within 1.7 km of Mauritius Glass Gallery.

The owner/ manager was very concerned that l was happy with everything. She organised a transfer from the airport to the hotel and sent me a photo of their driver. The breakfast was quite ample, with a choice of pastries, bread, juice, and coffee and a custom-made omelette. There was a supermarket attached to the property, which would have been useful.but l had to check out early and race off to the Wharf to have cruise details sorted. The bed was comfortable, and there were nice views from both the bathroom window and from a small balcony. .The air-conditioning worked well, as did the WiFi . The young couple who were on duty when l arrived were very helpful and welcoming!

It was easy to move around from the apartment because its located right in town with easy access to shops and transport facilities. The owner is pleasant except for communication barriers as we could only speak English while they were comfortable with French.
