We enjoy the hustle and bustle of the city.
We enjoy the hustle and bustle of the city. Residents are extremely helpful. We really explored the wine country this time. We found several wineries with good wine and olive oil. We ate at La Justina and had an excellent meal. Ensenada is not the easiest city to get around. There is lots of construction going on, but the pot holes are numerous, requiring constant vigilance. We took some back roads which were beautiful, with well maintained roads. I wouldn’t avoid anything. It’s all part of the unique experience that is Mexico.

Tons of shopping, restaurants, bars nearby - along with the waterfront area - all within walking distance. The rooms are consistently comfortable and clean. The breakfast is at a nearby traditional restaurant with lovely areas to dine - from outdoor seating to a small cafe to an indoor Old Mexico style dining room. There is a small jacuzzi, a swimming pool and a 2nd floor patio for hanging out. A nice little retreat.

It was awesome to get to Ensenada after an 8 hour drive and the directions to the address on my confirmation take me to a metal fabrication shop. Good thing I have been to Ensenada several times and found what should have been the property but is now Hotel Baja. They had no record of my reservation. Had to pay in cash. Property was beyond basic but a bed and shower are all I really need.

Property was very lovely, we enjoyed the pool view and had amazing time down there. A super perk is that is only 4 minutes away from Dona Estela cousin. Overall a must place to stay!
