Very central location, large room, good AC, pretty decent shower. Lots of shops and restaurants around, 10 mins walk to the beach. The whole design looks nicer in pictures than in reality but is a pleasant touch. Early check in was a bonus. Good wifi.

It was a lovely escape. As soon as we arrived we didn't leave. We stayed in an incredible room with it's own pool. The service was possibly the best I've ever experienced. The service was the stand-out take away for me... and that's saying something, because the room was exceptional.

the views and the location made this hotel special. We loved our beach cabin, the morning sunrise in the hammock was perfect and the sounds of the waves so relaxing. Breakfast and food from the bar were amazing! Fresh and cooked to order. Staff were amazing and went above and beyond to help :) please note that there are 266 steps from the hotel reception area to the beach, incase you have mobility issues etc. we stayed in both the beach cabin (no AC but they had a powerful fan) and the AC room next to the pool and definitely preferred the former!

We loved the King-sized bed, and nice pillows.
We loved the King-sized bed, and nice pillows. Many places do not have those. The stairs down to the veach was a long trek, so we drive to the beach. A newer made hand rail is essential to replace. And it seemed the photo of the swimming pool made it look longer, and it was ‘t.
I loved the small refreshing pool.
There were many nice features at the Posada, but we were disappointed in the stairs and lack of a hand rail. The price was the best!

Mazunte is the perfect combo of comfort and nature.
Mazunte is the perfect combo of comfort and nature. It’s very small but lively with shops and restaurants and the atmosphere remains quite and friendly. For even more tranquility I recommend spending the days on the beach at San Angustinillo, and heading back in town for dinner. Temazcal ceremonies at Kakao Kali are a must try if you’re on a healing journey. I was also happy to take a boat ride to see the dolphins and sea turtles.

This is a hip vibe place to be.
This is a hip vibe place to be. The busy streets, the beach goers. The constant revelry. This place is a Pueblo Magico so it has a standard that was met. Pueblo Magico towns offer an experience that is reflective in the most part to that area of Mexico. This town did not disappoint, but go down the road to Zipolite, and you will understand that the conformity of Mazunte, is pleasing to the eye and walk able (somewhat). The area's that seem pedestrian for the visitors are often used as service roads for vehicle traffic, and if you are from North of America, pediatricians have the right away. Not the case here, the car, or motorbike is king, stay to the side, and don't get lost in the karma of the place, because someone will be down your back in no time. Be careful.

Loved Mazunte by the beach!
Loved Mazunte by the beach! The beach area hotels are much quieter than the ones by the main road.
Good food is plentiful and easy to find.
Everyone gathers at the beach to watch the sunset!
Word of warning; come with pesos because ATM machines often run out of cash or are not working. Learned this the hard way.

We love this quaint little beach town.
We love this quaint little beach town. You are living each day with and like the locals. Grab some fresh fruit, local coffee, and local pastry treat and hang out on Main Street with the locals and enjoy the atmosphere.
The beaches are beautiful and not crowded although the current is quite strong in some areas. 2 beaches just 5 minutes away or another maybe 10 minute walk. Greet the spectacular sunrise each morning on the beach with sun salutations, yoga, jogging, swimming or enjoy a short boat ride to see whales, dolphins, turtles and msntarays. Sport fishing is available too,

Small beach town with not much going on besides beach,...
Small beach town with not much going on besides beach, tourist clothing shops and dining options. The ocean is beautiful but a bit rough at the time we visited in early November. You can rent an umbrella to have shade. There appeared to be a little night life on a few small roads leading to the beach but we didn’t go there for that so I can’t speak from experience.
Spacious room with a comfy bed and plenty of storage space. Perfectly clean when we came in. It is not that common to have an AC in Mazunte and we definitely appreciated it! Great wi-fi and a table with chairs in the room as well as on the terrace outside. Little kitchen with some basic equipment and drinking water. Good location near the beach and some restaurants, just 5 min walk to Rinconcito street with all the nicest places. Overall a great budget place with a good location!
This place is absolutely enchanting!! Words cannot even describe how lovely the Carpe Diem is! The attention to detail is unbelievable- every inch of the property has been perfectly designed and thoughtfully decorated. Its a modern facility tucked into the hill above Mazunte- away from all the hustle and dust of the main Mazunte area. Appreciated having a fridge and coffee pot! The on-site restaurant is just lovely and food was delicious!
This place is just amazing. You are just one step away from the beach and surrounded by all the atractions of Mazunte, as well as all the good restaurants and bar around. I was surprised how quiet it got after 11 PM, but its something normal in this magic village.
Whats more I felt very at home here. The desks in the rooms allowed me to get some work done before I jumped into the sea to fresh up my mind. Definitely I am coming back!
The location is very quiet and safe. We loved that it was private and had no other people around. The location is a bit hidden but it’s close to Mazunte and San Agustinillo.
The apartment was well equipped and had everything we needed for our stay.
The hosts were also accommodating, welcoming and friendly.
Location is amazing - less than 5 mins to Mazunte beaches, 15-20 min walk to San Augustillo.
The staff were friendly, offered to change our sheets free of charge
Very quiet place, lots of seating outdoors and on balconies
Nice to have a private bedroom and bathroom for the price of a hostel elsewhere
Amazing value for money. Super clean and comfortable room with working AC and hot shower. Lots of comfortable areas to chill with stunning views over Mazunte and the ocean. Access to fridge to keep drinks cool was a bonus and cooled drinking water also available. I would definitely stay here again.
This family run hotel was great in every way. Our room was clean and comfortable and the location is only a 5 minute walk to the best beach ever!! Patti was very attentive to our needs. We had access to the full kitchen and seating area. We would definitely stay here again.
We stayed 20 days (after 10 days in Oaxaca city). It is not too far from the beaches but far enough from the nightime noises. We slept really well due to quiet environment and effective ceiling fan and ac. Owner is kind and helpful. We highly recommend Casa Aldairis
the rooms are brand new and everything works well. air conditioning, ceiling fan, TV. the pool was refreshing. the only issue was it seemed a bit pricey but we booked this place when leaving a different hotel that we hated.
Great location, great attention from the staff. One of the great things is that you sleep hearing the sea as you have it literally next door. Everyone from the hotel was super helpful (Except for the owner / manager)
The room has everything needed. There are greats views and it has a good location. The owner is super nice, ready to help and give tips on what to do in Mazunte. The room is clean and also gets cleaned every day.
After slumming it for a few days this hotel was next to where I was staying . Big comfy bed , running water and a balcony to sit on and watch the world go by . Recommend
The hotel was beautiful and right on the beach. The room was very spacious had very comfortable beds. The staff went above and beyond multiple times during my stay.
We loved our stay here. Probably the best and most worthwhile place we stayed at in our trip in Mexico.
Clean, gorgeous rooms, friendly staff, stunning views!
