Staff were amazing! Made us feel so welcome before we even arrived by organising taxis for us from our hostel in San Juan del sur and in Ometepe. Also organised a scooter for during our stay which is much needed to get around the island. Really enjoyed our time here.

El Pital is a stunning place with beautiful rooms and the food is AMAZING! I enjoyed the daily yoga and other offerings and just sitting and watching the view from the cafe area. I treated myself to a private room and it was the standard I would expect from a very expensive hotel with doors that open right out to the lake and a shower immersed in nature. It was incredibly good value.

The staff were incredible helpful, friendly, kind and chatty. The location is amazing.... Stunning views, beautiful grounds, super peaceful, cheeky howler monkeys in the mango trees, lots of birds and butterflies. Really yummy food aswell.
