Lovely location on a promontory with great views of the fjord. Friendly receptionist/waiter. There were no other restaurants in the village so we ate at the hotel and dinner was fine, though limited choice. This was my second stay here and I would definitely stay here again if in the area.

We were unaware that the whole area / hotel shuts down over the winter. We actually left a day early or we wouldn't have been able to catch our ferry! More info on website about this may have been helpful.

Great value for money. The rooms are are little dated but they are clean, comfortable, and are exactly what is needed. In addition the staff went above and beyond to help us when we had an early departure.

If you are looking for a 5-star hotel with all facilities, please do not book here. However, if you simply want a good place to sleep, a bar with excellent vibes and welcoming staff, this is the place to be!
Sandra is an excellent host who is very welcoming and helpful to all guests. Although it was mentioned that there was no breakfast provided, she suprised us with complimentary croissants and coffee. Combine that with a wonderful view of the fjord and good weather and you have an experience that many 5* hotels can only dream of.
Nice bar with local ciders, pool table and musical atmosphere.
