This is a gem in the countryside of Tai Tapu. Merrilies made us feel very welcome (as did Mickey)
We loved her interior design with the space and practicalities of the room itself and the separate kitchen and lounge.

Big enough to have things to do. We saw a weekend Farmers market whilst there on the weekend. Lots of cyclists so there are obviously good trails. There are 2 cafés right beside the motel- both served excellent coffee and food. The university would have been interesting to look around.

The host was very friendly and helpful. She left a treat in the fridge for us. Was always about if you needed to ask a question. The site was perfect for us as our function was handy. We ate at the Famous Grouse Hotel. Very good meals. Chistchurch is not far to travel, say 20 Minutes. If you like the country side, we highly recommend this place. We are sure you will not be disappointed.

Lincoln is a very nice small town with lots of things to see...
Lincoln is a very nice small town with lots of things to see in close proximity and eating places, supermarket and lovely shops to buy or browse are all within walking distance of the motel. It is an ideal place to stay if coming to also visit the University. We were in town for a sports tournament so didn't have a lot of time to see all the sights but intend to return and stay longer next time and have a better look around..

David welcomed us on arrival and showed us around the property. The room has plenty space and was clean and cozy. one of the cats paid a visit and the super friendly dog said goodbye on the morning we leave.
