I got the ground-floor room with the garden patio and enjoyed the view of the beautifully kept garden and the river beyond. Loved the character of the place overall and interesting decor - bed was so prettily made up it seemed a shame to get in it and disturb it. Great location, everything I needed in easy walking distance. Big private parking area. Friendly and welcoming staff (owner was away, I was greeted by her helper).

What a beautiful spot, so peaceful. The house was warm and very comfortable. Loved having the cows beside us and watching them head off to the milking sheds. Easy drive to Invercargil or Riverton. Would definitely stay again.
