Nowy Targ is a charming and authentic Polish town that offers a perfect blend of natural beauty, history, and culture. The town is situated at the foot of the Tatra Mountains, which offer stunning views and plenty of trails to explore. The town also has a rich cultural heritage, with historic buildings and folk festivals. The delicious cuisine is a highlight, with traditional mountain dishes available to sample and even learn to cook at cooking classes. Overall, Nowy Targ offers something for everyone, whether seeking adventure, culture, or relaxation.
Buses and trains make it easy to travel anywhere, however if you planning on driving to small rural vilages it would be easier to rent a car. There are buses to Zakopane as well as trains, also there is transport for the thermal baths in Szaflary.

From a winter perspective: great coffee, decent restaurants, two small ski slops, wonderful walks in the region BUT my dear god, the smog! When you walk down from the mountains, you can taste the city immediately. And it is not a good sort of a taste. Seriously, when will the Polish South finally do something about the air quality??

Just a nice ordinary Polish City.
Just a nice ordinary Polish City. Does not have a big shopping mail yet (but one is being built... which will mean many small shops will close and spoil the busy centre). Has quite a a lot of lovely restaurants.... once you'd found them. Easy (by bus or train) for day trips to other places like Zakopane and the various Termy swimming complexes.
The location is very good, everything is in reach, there is a walking path next to the river that leads to the big park. The staff is so helpful and kind, very flexible. Our room was cold but they brought us a radiator which made the whole situation so much better. The restaurant is phenomenal. Please try żurek and pierogi. Good breakfast and very tasty pizza. I felt secure during my stay. The hotel is also very beautiful. The price also seemed reasonable.
Hotel looked brand new, with private parking for vehicles, room was clean with private bathroom (kitchen is shared, but that was not important for me since I stayed for one night).
The owner showed where tocpark my motorcycle and was worried if that is ok to park it on a gravel pavement. Offered also other options, mentioning they have 24/7 video camera surveilance system around building.
The accomodation was clean and nice. We felt very comfortable during stay. Unfortunetly, it was only 1 night :) Krzysztof always answered on message/call. The centre is 15min by foot, nature (Bór na Czerwonem) is next to the appartment. Free parking (lot of places) avaliable next to the appartment. Nowy Targ is nice city with walking distance. Thanks.
Really practically designed and what a nice bathroom. It was one of the best accommodations, in comparison value for money. We stayed here with our 3 years old son and a dog. If there would be an opportunity to go there once again, this accommodation is the number one choice in Nowy Targ.
We liked the setting and the fact that the house had everything you needed. Having the fireplace made it super special and very relaxing. Also, everyone was super nice! The proximity to Nowy Targ made it also possible to order a variety of food and have a supermarket nearby.
first and foremost BIG thanks to Kinga and Piotr. Great staff!
Great location, easy access to bus/coach station and city market 5/6 mins walk. Shopping mall 30 seconds from hotel entrance is an additional plus. I definitely recommend it. Good value for the money.
Fantastic feeling of homeliness. The view from the window was stunning - Tatri mountains in their glory! The breakfast was OK, but there is option to eat dinner - full of local tastes and accents. The hotel itself became one of highlights of the trip!
I liked the staff, it was very supportive. Jacusi and a pool were fantastic. Food superb as well. All in all fresh and new hotel with a nice design. We all did like it. In booking given photos are even worse then the real look of this great hotel.
Comfortable rooms, good breakfast and restaurant. Kids had fun at the swimming pool. We stayed one night only and left for a hiking trip in Gorce. The staff let us leave our cars for two more nights on the hotel parking which was very handy.
Great location & view, nice garden, good equipment and desing. Quite spacious (for 4 people at least). Friendly owner. You're 3 minutes walk from the forest/start of mountains. And 10 minutes from Nowy Targ town. Quiet place.
