The breakfast was lovely and the hotel spotlessly clean. The customer service was outstanding. All the staff couldn’t do enough to help us and were so attentive to my 3 small children. I loved the fact the pool and gym were open 24/7

The Spa was pleasant, I had a head massage, which was nice and relaxing. We ate in the restaurant one night and the food was good.
This beautiful and charming hotel is harmoniously integrated into the surrounding natural landscape, offering comfortable, modern accommodation off the beaten track.

The room was quaint and spotless, in a beautiful old building with lovely bright artwork on the walls, an ornate stairwell, lovely host who gave us all the information we needed about the metro, restaurants, shops, etc. The location was perfect, 5 minutes to the metro, 5 minutes to little supermarkets, 10 minutes down to the beautiful beach, warm and close to a beautiful big cathedral-type church.

Vila do Condo upon first sight looks nice. It’s on the river and the square with the flowers is really nice. Once you go out of the square and into the town you see that it is very run down and unkept. The local youths didn’t take kindly to our accompanying teenage football team and on one evening chased a group of them out of town threatening violence towards them. This is one location I will not return to

Vila do Conde is a pretty town on the coast.
Vila do Conde is a pretty town on the coast. Easy to get to from Porto on the Metro. We also had a day out to Povoa de Varzim on the metro which is just a couple of stops away.
Vila do Conde has a few interesting museums relating to its history and development. Lots of opportunities to walk, a number of beaches and plenty of restaurants and bars, a great place for a short break in the sunshine.

The places we liked most in Vila do Conde were: a) the top of the hill with an old monastery and the 16th century aqueduct (2nd longest in Portugal), with a great view of the historic center; b) a truly wonderful restaurant -- REPUBLICA -- at 83 Praca da Republica, both food and service were great, and the interior is very pleasant; and c) within a 3-minute walk from the restaurant the Naval Construction Museum and a replica of a ship outside from the Age of Discoveries.

This is more of a guest house .
This is more of a guest house . It is above a bistro, There was no breakfast and when bistro was closed no one to provide assistance. The location is excellent across the street from the river with access to walk to shore. Staff was friendly and helpful when available. We chose it as it is on the coast north of Porto and close to the airport. Room and bed were small, but comfortable. We stayed only one night so it met our needs. Interesting town to explore.

Great little town, seems to have a lot to offer if you like quiet little towns. Not too built up, nice small town feel to it. We didn't have time to explore much - yet - but will definitely come back
We had an amazing time.
The bed is very big and comfy, the shower is great and the room very spacious.
Breakfast is very good, even lactose free options.
We had 2 dinners at the hotel restaurant, in a huge group, and we had a great time.
Last, but not least, the support I got for my wedding was fantastic. They provided me a huge conference from for me, my family and friends to get ready, walked with the staff I hired until the place and brought me everything I needed very fast, kindly and efficiently!
Thank you very much!!
Nice hotel located directly on the camino. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms are very clean, refrigerators, modern bathrooms, and I really liked that there were tubs, so you could soak your feet after a 30 km day. They also have blankets (guests from the USA will appreciate this). I would suggest they add a washer dryer for guests who may want to wash their clothing. I would stay again.
Great stay. The owner met us with a smile. Great guy and the apartment itself. well, it is like you get to your own home away from home. Toilet paper and cleaning supplies are all ready to use and unlimited. The heating is a separate huge plus in Northern Portugal. The parking was good. The ocean nearby was spectacular. You need a car anywhere you go though. Shopping is pretty far if you walk .
Guest House Eca is located in a quiet characterful old street which is just a minute or so from many of the main sights and amenities in Vila do Conde. The soothing decor and well-chosen furnishings matched the geneal ambience.
I was well-received by Alexandra who was happy to book me in hours earlier than normal.
Nicely designed and comfortable rooms. The hotel is located a bit out of the center of town, but it is still in a good location (we were walking the Camino). Nice restaurant downstairs where you can get a glass of wine and a snack and have a good conversation with the owner. Good atmosphere.
Good location. But the best asset was the proprietor Alfredo. He greeted us and walked us to our room. Twice he went out of his way to help us untangle a problem with a shipping company and with a future reservation at another hotel. It was above and beyond. Many thanks.
Emanuel was very kind and welcoming. The space was the home he grew up in. Everything was updated, comfortable and clean. They had everything one needs, including a washing machine! He made great recommendation for dinner.
We stayed here for day 1 of our Camino . Nice and clean ! And a great little beach bar and pizza place across the street. Perfect for our tired feet as we didn’t have to walk but a few hundred yards to the beach !
It is a nice, clean hotel room with comfortable beds and complimentary coffee and beverages downstairs. The hotel staff had a great restaurant recommendation for dinner too.
Room clean, owners spoke excellent English, location perfect for my needs. A quiet hotel with plenty of cafes and restaurants locally within easy walking distance
Beautiful a bit over budget for Portugal but was beautiful the surroundings are amazing. They need to change the pillows as they were not comfortable at all
