Vi bodde sør på Mahe, men syns nok nord på øya var finere. Men der var litt flere turister. En bør leie bil for å komme seg rundt på Mahe. Det er lett å kjøre selv om det er venstrekjøring, lave fartsgrenser og rolig trafikk. Mange flotte strender med lite folk. Hyggelig lokalbefolkning som snakker engelsk. Takamaka rom destilleri er verdt et besøk, veldig god rom å få kjøpt.
