The family-run Hotel Bau is situated on the right side of the Drava river in the south-western area of Maribor boasting wonderful views over Pohorje.

The hotel had a very homey feeling and great friendly personnel. We only stayed a night during a road trip, but the room provided the quietness and comfortableness we needed to rest and recharge.
Located in downtown Maribor, a few metres from Drava River, this hotel offers free Wi-Fi, and a 24-hour front desk. Maribor’s ski lift is just 6 km away.
We traveled by van and trailer. Parking at the premises was no problem at all. The reception was very friendly. The room was very clean, and the bathroom and shower were tidy. The hostess did everything to make our stay, even for one night, as comfortable as possible.
This is a place to remember and to return to.
