This place is a piece of heaven in the middle of La Marsa, beautiful, comfortable and tranquil. The patio is an amazing place to spend some time and rest, and the rooms are very nice with private bathrooms. The best part of Dar Souad is the staff, the two sisters in charge of it are very helpful and have good advises to move around the area. The rest of the staff is also fantastic, very good cookers also! I would come back for sure!

Taieb was so welcoming, kind and warm. He made us immediately feel at home. The property itself is stunning with the amount of detail in the renovation (done by Taieb and his father). Everywhere you look there is something beautiful to see.

The heated pool was so warm, we didn't even need to use the hot tubs! We also liked being able to swim from inside to outside to enjoy the sunshine. The fitness center had decent treadmills and good assortment of weight machines. Property was kept up excellent compared to a lot of other places we've seen in Tunis area. They were re-grouting one of the outdoor pools, and making a new cabana down by the beach. Seems that they are trying to maintain the hotel to best serve their guests. They had a lot of staff working, all were very friendly/helpful that we encountered.

La marsa beach was right outside our guest house.
La marsa beach was right outside our guest house. We could walk to the main part of the beach and the shops and restaurants. We were out of season, visiting during Ramadan so it was relatively quiet. Some restaurants were not open at all, some only during the day, others only at night. We managed to find somewhere to eat every day. I can recommend the Cliff restaurant, Pasta mi Basta (very accommodating with our friend who had various intolerances), Kenko food bar and Blu Blu (Sidi Bou). There was a supermarket which catered for our needs. We also visited the capital Tunis and Sidi Bou Said which had lovely shops and stunning views.TraceyUnited Kingdom - 8.0Scored 8.0

Very clean and beautiful house. Esma and son were accommodating hosts. We were expecting a hotel rather than a B&B. Bed had partial walls on both sides with shelves so easy to bump head or body. Breakfast was the same both days—Tasty and fresh but nothing memorable. Several restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Bakery as well. Value for money seems a little expensive.

It was a bit difficult for the taxi driver to get to the house, so make sure you contact Mr. Adnan via Whatsapp and he'll explain it to the taxi. Breakfast was so delicious: fresh pastries, fresh fruits, homemade marmalade, local cheeses and eggs made to your liking. The rooms are so close to the beach you can fall asleep to the sounds of the waves. So peaceful, so clean, so pretty. The staff was exceptional and friendly. Will definitely book again on any future trips to Tunis.

The apartment we stayed at was spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of storage space for longer stays. The outdoor sitting area/garden was lovely and the owners were friendly and allowed a very late check-in, which was much appreciated. The guesthouse is close to many cafes, restaurants and supermarkets (very handy, especially when visiting during Ramadan when most eateries are closed).

Plus the hotel is spotlessly clean and the owner and his son and the staff are on site and so nice. They have the best breakfast I have ever had overlooking the sea. Thanks again to the whole team.
