The owner Jim is very helpful and he was waiting for us on the road to take our suitecases to move them up the hill and he found a car park for my car. The view from the terrace is spectacular the appartment is clean. Kitchen has all needed utensils. The only negative thing is dogs barking down on the street very early morning which has nothing to do with the owner. Thank you Jim.

Ayder is a very beautiful city which has a breathtaking scenery with scenic mountains and a peaceful environment. I went in june and we got the perfect weather where it was raining and the temperature was mild and relaxing. Everything was great except the food was quite expensive as it was two-three times the price from the city. Overall my experience was amazing and i would highly recommend this place to anyone who is considering.

Ayder Yaylası is beautiful mountain resort. Although now is it becoming popular and many tourist flood the area in summer, I still like it. The scenery, the fresh air, the many attractions around, such as Zil Kale castle, many waterfalls, mountain tops (Huser, Pokut) makes this a must destination for anyone visiting Trabzon.

Nice place to visit!
Nice place to visit! You will need 4WD to reach some places, or opt for tourist company. Village is nice, but doesn’t have much to see. There is a hot springs public bath available in the village. Mostly popular with locals, but I would definitely recommend to visit it. You can buy bathing accessories right at the counter. View is magnificent in the village. Few short zip lines available - try the one on the top of the hill, you will experience breathtaking view from it. A lot of restaurants available around. Zümrüd looked nice from outside, but did not impress with food quality and portions. However they have good outside terrace. Esoresso Cafe has great selection of teas and cakes. They do not serve Turkish tea though. Quite pricey, but worth it. Ayder Burger serve good burgers and sandwiches. Overall, nice place to stay 3-4 nights.

Frankly it was a bad hotel and the Syrian man there make same problem with other customers maybe he wants bribery!

The backyard of the hotel is a true green forest, the front view looks at breathe taking view of mountains, waterfalls, and main Ayder market. The owner, Mr. Jim, has a positive and a welcoming attitude. He is so generous and cooperative. It is one of the best places to settle in Ayder. It is an experience to repeat again and again. Not sure if it’s worth it to get the room only with mountain view. Also when you drive into Ayder Yaylasi village, Google maps shows you to turn to the right - but the entrance is actually from the left, be aware of the sign on the left from the road, it’s quite big.
