The spa add-on is well worth it. I would even suggest taking the private spa option so you don't have to deal with wet clothes. Laundry is free for cyclists, location is easily accessible by bicycle and has lots of retail and food options nearby. The host and hostess are extremely friendly and hospitable. One of the streets nearby has lots of fat cats which are very friendly and will let you pet them.

We arrived at 5pm after a long bike ride up the mountain and the girls at reception were so friendly and helpful. They have a couple cute dogs and cats. We ordered dinner ahead of our arrival and it was served right on time - Japenese. Nice light breakfast. Views are amazing!!
