Lala Land Lodge, hotel in Kizimkazi

Lala Land Lodge has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Kizimkazi. Featuring a bar, the property is located within less than 1 km of Kizimkazi Dimbani Beach.

We had a fantastic stay (5 nights) at Lala Land Lodge. Frida and Ben are the lovely, super friendly and chilled couple who run this small family eco-lodge located in beautiful surroundings right in front of the sea. The staff is ultra nice and helpful. We especially loved Hawa with her beautiful energy and professionalism. She is pure sunshine. It is a place that is especially suited for those who seek peace and tranquility as it is a bit secluded. We had delicious and very nutritious breakfasts included with our stay and the rest of the food is excellent and the portions generous. The pool is a mix of salt water and fresh water which we found way better than chlorine pools. Note that for the showers and sink it’s the same. But you are provided with buckets of fresh water to rinse. Basically, we highly recommend Kizimkazi and Lala Land Lodge.

This place has an amazing ambient and a beautiful soul! It was like a hub for the coolest people from every country, looking for a peaceful, extremely relaxed vacation in a bit of wilderness, heartfelt conversations with alcohol next to the fire… it’s all in the package, and as a bonus you get one of the best teams - owners and staff members that are right there for you literally every minute. Thank you all guys- Benjamin, Annick, Cliffton, Melania, Elisabeth and others whose names we did not get to know;) You were all so amazing that even after two weeks it was a pity to leave. We look forward to meeting you all again! PS. A big thanks to Cliffton for recommending us Malaika, We enjoyed it to the fullest ;-)

It’s a very quiet and enjoyable place and you can book lots of activities from there but overall there is not much going outside the hotels. The public beach doesn’t have any good restaurants or shops so you’re pretty much tied to your resort.

The staff and the hotell facilties are the absulute best. The location is more quiet then other places, they do not have a beach like Kendwa but it you are just looking to relax a couple of days this does not matter. It is like on a little cliff, sooo nice!

Kizimkazi is a village, although in fact there are 2 distinct and separate areas, with 2 beaches. The rest of the area is comprised of large, private self-contained resorts with their own private stairways. There is not much to explore, but boat owners offer big-game fishing and dolphin-watching. There are only 2 restaurants, although some of the private resorts offer their restaurants to the public; but at a price. Hardly any touting which is nice; 3 or 4 days is probably sufficient to see all there is to see.

I love how intimate and small this boutique hotel is. The rooms are beautifully decorated and my stay was extremely comfortable. Housekeeping is so attentive with the evening turn down service. The food was amazing here, I loved the daily breakfast it was so delicious. This is the perfect place to stay if you want a holiday full of rest and relaxation. I loved all the little and different sitting areas overlooking the water. Everyone working here is truly attentive and wanting you to have the best stay.

Beautiful, clean & relaxing property. Breath taking view of the beach during both high & low tie from our bungalow & the restaurant. Our bungalow was perfect for a family of 4, we were in Sunset villa 12 with a outside bathroom which was exciting to use. The kids playground & pool was a big hit with our 2y9m Twin girls. Lastly all the staff were super friendly especially The Maasai Emmanuel who our Twins adored so much & Lyla the dog.

Very nice and calm place to stay. Salida Beach is located in a quiet corner of Kizimkazi, you can walk easily to the village if you need something. Tasty and fresh breakfast and also good food if you want to eat in the hotel restaurant. From the property you can go down directly to the ocean and during the low tide walk by the beach. People working there are very friendly and helpful. Thanks for nice service :) I fully recommend.

Great breakfast and restaurant. Lovely campfire in the evening. And we even saw some monkey on the property luckily the massai was there to help. Amazing owner! We booked the hotel last minute at 2:00 a.m. and were still able to check in at 2:30 a.m. Omar, the owner, had no problem with that. After checking out, I realized I had left my power bank in the hotel, but I was already at another hotel. Omar went out of his way to bring me the power bank - so kind of him. Excellent accommodation!

Promise land is in Kizimkazi. The hotel is exceptional and the staff is amazing. The food is delicious but the menu has to be changed because it is the same the last two years. Also sunsets are mesmerizing in this hotel and it has a family ambience. It is beachfront with an exceptional view.
