Skole is a very small town with very little to do.
Skole is a very small town with very little to do. It is a gateway to hiking and camping in the mountains, but the town itself is not a destination. There are only a couple of restaurants, and generally of low quality, so I suggest staying at a place where you can prepare your own food. The location is beautiful, with a clean river and mountains in every direction. I don't know why people always go to Vorokhta or other towns in order to go into the mountains when it is very easy to get to Skole, and it isn't as crowded with tourists.

There is good hiking in the area.
There is good hiking in the area. The start of the path can be difficult to find, but some locals helped us get to the right place. Once on the path, it is very easy to follow and has great views at the top! The restaurants in town had great food. People were friendly.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The mountains around the small town are picturesque, so it's a pleasure to walk around. There are a few interesting spots at a walking distance, and also options for sightseeing within 20-30 km from Skole.NellyUkraine
