The cabin was very nice, clean, cozy. Hot tub was clean and enjoyable. It was a quaint, perfect little place for our weekend getaway. The owner's were exceptionally nice. We got there an hour early and they were able to accommodate us by letting us in 1 hour early. It was a lovely experience and I will return for a spring/ summer getvaway. I highly recommend Streamside on Fall River.

My family loves coming to Estes Park. Being in the mountains and enjoying the snow and all the Elk. We love smokin Dave's BBQ. Plenty of shops and the owner's are very friendly. We will keep coming back.

My son and I were in Estes Park in February and the weather...
My son and I were in Estes Park in February and the weather was sunny, yet cold and quite windy. There was an almost 20 degree Farenheit temperature difference when coming from Denver. The drive from Denver to Estes Park is an awesome experience in itself. From Lyon, you start to drive up on a windy road surrounded by mountains on both sides. It goes from 5000ft to 7500ft. The drive is very beautiful and once you climbed up Rt. 36, you start to descend just a bit and then, you come around a curve and there lays, in a valley, Estes Park with a beautiful lake, surrounded by snow tipped mountains. Estes Park is a small town with a main street, lots of unique stores, a unique looking movie theater, and many restaurants. There is a Safeway and Dollar Tree and I don't think that there are any other grocery stores there. Estes Park is also very close to the entrance of the Rocky Mountain National Park and the home of the famous "Stanley" Hotel, which was used in the movie "The Shining". We also drove around in the surrounding area and found a few great roads that lead to parks and trails. I have truly enjoyed my 4 day stay in Estes Park and hope to be back soon.

Off-season, a great mountain town next to the Rocky Mountains. Enough stuff to do and keep busy for our trip! Ate at Rock Inn, Casa Colina and Hunters Chop House, all fun places. Getting around was pretty easy off-season, though there's a large parking lot near the entrance of Elkorn street.

Estes Park is a popular tourist destination next to Rocky...
Estes Park is a popular tourist destination next to Rocky Mountain National Park, RMNP, in north central Colorado. It is in a stunning location. The downtown is quite touristy and in the summer, parking is difficult but doable. Estes Park is a destination in itself but surrounded by a larger destination- RMNP. In one day we saw mountain goats, deer and a herd of elk. The elk winter in Estes Park itself. The animals are magnificent but also a bit troublesome for the residents. But what a problem to have.
We had to book a room last minute and were glad to find one available at the Quality Inn because all of Estes Park was practically booked. The hotel was located close to Rocky Mountain National Park which was perfect since we had to get up early the next morning. The staff was super friendly and we had a great view of the trees and mountains. The hotel had a nice, homey feel to it which we loved and the bed was awesome! The free breakfast was convenient and good.
The hotel staff and accommodations were amazing. We had issues checking in which had nothing to do with the location but the maintenance man Cam was extremely friendly and helpful in getting us situated even after hours. Everyone that works there was so friendly and helpful and really made us feel right at home. The grounds are also beautiful and a perfect way to start your day in Estes Park. All in all a great place to stay!
Very clean! Perfect location for gorgeous views and only .04 miles from east gate entrance to the incredible Rocky Mountain National Park. Then for visiting wonderful Downtown Estes Park, it is a quick six-to-seven-minute car drive. The best of both worlds! Cindy, host, is friendly and truly cares about this family resort and wants your stay to be very enjoyable! Ours was! We stayed in the Aspen Family Suite.
Everything. We usually stayed at hotels. This was our first B&B experience and it was just great! Much better than hotel stay. Chester, Lil and Rudy were the best hosts. The breakfasts were mentioned in all the previous reviews, and yes they were very right. You can’t get better breakfasts that what we had in Sonnenhof B&B. Highly recommend this place it you are coming to Rocky Mountain National spark.
We loved the stunning setting with the river running by, the outdoor space with hot tub, and the very comfortable and spacious interior. We also valued being a 6 mins drive from the Rocky Mountain Park Gate and even less from Estes Park town centre with its’s nice shops and restaurants, and handy Safeway Superstore close by!
The room was a great size for my solo travel. The bed and pillows were comfortable and needed after a long day of hiking. The walkability to the downtown was great, and it was a short drive to all the hiking my heart desired. I would stay here again the next time I'm in Estes Park.
We stayed in a King Deluxe Suite and it was perfect. Clean, lots of room and the people here are so very friendly. We have stayed here several times before and will be back. This is our favorite place to stay in Estes Park in the winter months.
We enjoyed the balcony on the room. The wifi was strong and location close to the main part of town, but a little further than a "short walk." This meant there wasn't a lot of tourist traffic and noise next to the hotel.
I like the location of the hotel the views were really nice. I like how they are pet friendly and how they have complementary doggy treats. They have movies to check out and watch in your room with free popcorn.
The location was perfect for experiencing Estes Park and also traveling into Rocky Mountain National Park. The staff was friendly, helpful and engaging. One of the coolest historical hotels in the area.
I didn't eat at the hotel. The location was very convenient to downtown Estes Park and RMNP and various food venues. My bed was comfortable, the TV worked well.
