Fantastic location. Good amount of food places (supermarkets, liquor stores, restaurants, fast food (Shake Shack), delis) and landmark buildings (Chrysler Building) nearby. Nearest subway is Grand Central which is only 3 blocks away (less than 5 mins walk). The building itself was lovely. Great bar/lounge - massive and great place to sit and plan the day over a free morning coffee. Rooms were very good. Comfy beds, individual tvs, stylish bathrooms, rooms cleaned every day, heard no road noise or other people (but we were facing internal courtyard and at end of corridor). Clearly, the rooms are small, but we expected that and but considered the room to be like a cruise ship cabin: well planned out to maximise space. Wifi was strong in the room. The roof terrace was being worked on so wasn’t open, but you can still see the view from the top floor.
