From the main entrance to our room all was just amazing. The receptionist, the room, the whole place is just amazing.
We had 4 game rides which was the exact amount in order to see all we wanted.
The main restaurant served amazing food. With great atmosphere.
Our room had a private pool but we enjoyed the main pools too.
The main is the game drives which are amazing.

The owners made us feel at home.
Our kids loved playing, handling and even feeding the animals.
Calf, baby goat and more.
We felt safe, and enjoyed the river and country atmosphere.
Breakfast was amazing.
It's a unique experience for the family and kids, I highly recommend it.

Albertinia is a small country town without the big fast food...
Albertinia is a small country town without the big fast food take aways . Very rural . You can buy the basics at one of the cafes or Pizza place . There is not much as far as shops go so it is a stopover to break a long journey or a week or two of total peace and quite without too many modern day interruptions. There is a braai area and all you could want to have to have an enjoyable stop and a good night's sleep and no rush to get you out in the morning .. I simply bought rolls and cold meat and yogurt at Piet se kafee as I did not want to cook . Coffee is provided although if to a heavy coffee drinker you may want to buy a bit extra as most guest houses only give you enough for two or three cups of coffee . I had a nice chat with the owner who told me about the abundance of underground water and about the area in general...This is not a property where you can come in and drink and party and be a nuisance to others . . Albertinia is a quiet little town in the Karoo with a unique and charming character. It's small enough that you can walk anywhere that you want. There are some very nice restaurants around that serve traditional dishes. Visiting some of the camping sites around the area is a must, as they are located in some of the most spectacular Karoo veld around!

Great for a one night stay. Food was excellent and the staff extremely helpful. Guide was very knowledgeable. Only downside was would’ve had to stay another night to see the giraffes. Accommodation was perfect - comfortable beds and great shower
