Everything was great, very cordial, nice, welcoming. The place was very cozy, to sleep, to be and to rest. Well kept, safely fenced, parking, spacious rooms with heater in the beds for the cold nights. Details such as milk, tea, coffee and water and some complementary shots in the room. Toiletries available for use (shampoo, gel, etc). Breakfast was great, good attention and a very complete breakfast for a very reasonable price, cooked and prepared with care and love . Julie was super nice and her parents, Sue and Mr.Cavanaugh, were also very kind and polite. Her dogs are so cute and so playful, no worries about them at all. We will definitely recommend It. It was a great decision to book It!!!!!!!

Very nice accommodation - the room is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Kralinbergh is just 10 minutes from central Ermelo so very convenient but so quiet and peaceful. The prepared breakfast for our early takeaway was superb

I wouldn’t elect to visit again. We only went there for a wedding (stunning wedding venue just outside the town) but Ermelo itself is not the best kept and the trucks drive right past all the accommodation (most accommodations are in a specific road and this seems to be the main truck route, making it super difficult to sleep).

Ermelo is an OK place to stop if you are travelling from the east coast on route to J'burg or up to the Kruger area. It is a very busy town, with quite a lot of heavy traffic. There is a fairly large supermarket if you need to stock up on provisions.

We stayed in the middle of Ermelo & Chrissiesmeer which was...
We stayed in the middle of Ermelo & Chrissiesmeer which was the intension as staying in town isn't always the best option to get away from the hustle and bustle. We mainly visited Chrissiesmeer and the lakes surrounding it( the ones that was accessible and not on private property mostly are on private property not accessible or 4x4 needed if you do not stay on the farm. We didn't know this so if birdwatching is what you came for try to arrange with locals to assist taking you to special lakes .The area is very scenic and driving towards Lesotho is worthwhile.
