Beautiful views from the hillsides, all surrounded by forests and parks. Lovely tranquil lifestyle. On the down side, all these open spaces demands good security and vigilance. Good rainfall causes dampness which in turn requires regular maintenance. Home owner's nightmare but a traveler's paradise. Easy access to major highways and roads.

Property is fine for a sleep over for visitors of the local Kwaduduka area, not recommended for tourists. Has a lot of potential and the host is helpfull, however training in the hospitality sector will be advantageous. No proper garden area available and construction in progress is unsigtly.

Beautiful forest add up tranquility to a weary soul..the atmosphere brings downhearted ones back to life...a place with nature I value a lot so kloof is one of the best..the guards to such a place are privileged to work in such a place though some still need to give all the best to the visitors as I saw some are lacking in that..but kloof falls is one of the best place to visit

Overall it is a pleasant experience, from the moment you enter the gate to the friendly goodbye. The property is clean and the staff is friendly and professional. Everything is fresh and clean and a big plus is the pillows that are high quality, thank you! No sore neck. The food is fresh and attractive with a good choice on the menu.

It's an old, quaint town with lots of greenery and little boutiques. I ate at Stokers Arms, which I would not recommend, unless it's only for drinks. I used the GPS to navigate around the area which was relatively easy however I would have definitely gotten lost without it! I tried going to Valley of 1000 Hills but couldn't find it, even with the GPS, and didn't know what else to do in the area so it was a bit of a wasted trip.

Kloof is a quiet suburb 30 km inland from Durban. It is cooler than Durban and has a luxurious established feel to it. The main attraction is the Kloof Falls and the Kloof valley which has stunning views and cliffs.

No breakfast was offered but we knew that and were fine with that. Accommodation is excellent, comfortable, clean, very spacious, contained everything required for self catering. Braai facilities are present. Lovely view across the Kloof Valley, and the cottage is nestled among trees and shrubs. Brigid and Pete were great hosts, very communicative and they visited us for a chat more than once. They have a huge natural garden with little walking paths. The neighbourhood is very nice and up-market.

Located near the Krantzkloof Nature Reserve on a busy main rd. Awesome Hosts/ owners. Great personal service. Breakfast prepared by the owners was excellent. Room is very clean and bathroom has some extras like a wall heater and larger than normal shower. Bathtub is nice and deep which my wife enjoyed very much. Will recommend to everyone. Honest business. Feel good atmosphere.

This place is like no one I've seen before. Absolutely stunning design by artist Peter Amm. Take a tour by the landlady Alta through the castle-/museum-/Gaudi like interior. It is a must-see in Kwa Zulu Natal. The breakfast was opulent and all our special needs where met. I booked the two president suites for my family and the view over the gorge was simply wonderful.

A very comfortable and spacious place to stay with everything I needed for the 8 nights I was there. Although close to the house, my room with lounge was still extremely private and I was able to come and go as I needed. Will definitely recommend Firenze and will book here again if I need to travel to the Durban area. 🙂🙂

What's not to like? Everything in the hidden jewel is so well thought of. It's unusual and completely out of this world. Lyn and Aiden are such beautiful souls who make this adventure even more special. Their cottage is no less than a 5 star hotel
