The place is Nice, clean and safe. The manager of the property was super kind and helped us throughout our stay and we really appreciated her tips. The room was big and the bed super comfortable; we would recommend it!

What can I say? This was the best accommodation we’ve ever stayed in. The staff (Rose) was friendly and efficient. The room was clean and tidy. The pool great! The location amazing! One of the highlights were the breakfast packs for our early morning trip into the Kruger.

We loved the fact that our accommodation was right in the middle of a forest. It was very tranquil and refreshing. The layout of the family unit was very practical, with the sleeping quarters completely separate from the boma area. Our family consist of 50% night owls and 50% early risers, and this way we could all get enough sleep. All breakfast options are substantial and delicious. We really enjoyed it. All personnel were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

Malelane is very beautiful and easy to get around.
Malelane is very beautiful and easy to get around. I loved the wild life the most, it was pleasant view to watch the birds and animals roaming around freely. The staff at the gate were very friendly and helpful. Wish I had more time to give a constructive review but went to the park for just half a day and managed to see some of the big 5 which was the purpose of my visit.

There is supermarkets for pre Kruger shopping on the road out of Malalene. Major roadworks taking place out of Malalene. Beware of trucks and drive carefully. Not recommended to drive in the dark while roadworks in place.

Pastana still remains for me the most affordable best and well managed accommodation in Malelane.
The Restuarant always meet my expectation of the wide spread of eats available.
Malelane is very easy to navigate. It has all the amenities to accommodate a travelers needs
The town is very clean .
I would avoid accommodation I have not visited before. A picture tell a thousand tales. But some can be very deceiving and uncomfortable.

Malelane town is totally unappealing.
Malelane town is totally unappealing. The only reason for staying in the suburb we stayed in was a) it is outside the town and b) is close to the Kruger Park entrance. We stayed in Mhlathikop suburb, which is nice and can be recommended.

Trying to find a contact person with regards to the booking is impossible.
Sometimes in real life, things happen totally out of your control like COVID that was a world wide epidemic and how do a person handle a situation like this?
I just had no contact number from Booking.com to assist us and lost the money. This will make me think twice next time I want accommodation

.The self catering unit had everything I needed. The unit was spotless and cleaned daily. I liked the view of the dam and the mountains from my unit. Reception was friendly and helpful always (engaged with Letta). The checking in and checking out was seemless. Thank you Letta for organising Almond milk for me; highly appreciated as adhering to a vegan diet can be tricky in foreign town. Thank you Jimmy for the game drive at Kruger National Park; the experience was priceless.
It was conveniently located near the entrance to Kruger National Park. It has very nice views of the river and even of the park across the river (with seating on a high balcony/patio), where you can view wild animals in the park. They offer half-board options. They were very accommodating to us, as we arrived very late (due to a punctured tire), leaving dinner covered on the table and waiting up for us.
I loved the look and feel of the place, it's quite secluded area, it was peaceful. The owners were very excellent hosts too.
Since it's a self catering, I liked that the shopping center is not that far off. But like us, we love Woolies food, so I advice you buy some very necessary supplies before heading to Malelane. Overall, we had an amazing Baecation there.
Gideon was a great help. We stayed here for one night before entering Kruger early the following morning. He was more than happy to be woken up at 5am to open the gate for us to take the car and be first in line at the Malelane Gate of Kruger. Room is basic but has everything you need for a short stay; air-con, TV, mini fridge and tea/coffee station.
No breakfast supplied but but there are places close by to buy it as mentioned. The place is close to most shops/ mall. Rooms are big enough. Very friendly staff. The Kruger National park gate not far off but book in advance to avoid disappointment or you will be returned at the gate. I also liked their swimming pool and braai place.
Location is great next to the river you can see the animals from your balcony and from the eating / viewing area.
The venue has a generator so there is always electricity & the aircon's work (needed)
Rooms are comfortable and have all the basics it's not a city hotel but everything was provided to keep the guest happy
Elephants in the water right opposite the pool..comfy big bed aircon very nice private bathroom with big shower and bath..staff is very friendly and always ready to help with something..peaceful and very relaxing and very close to Malelane gate to Kruger..and excellent value for money..thank You
Great location and close to Malelane Gate for Kruger National Park. close to shopping centres to get what ever you need. rooms are all air conditioned.
Awesome facilities especially if you have kids with two pools and a bar area. Amazing view of the river and Kruger National Park.
Place of passage in a quiet position not too far from Kruger's Malelane gate. The property offers everything you need. The room is clean and with enough space. Breakfast not included, however not too expensive and very good. Parking space inside the structure.
Super friendly and helpful staff. They accommodated all our needs for example extra early breakfast.
The view from hotel terrace is amazing. If you stay there during the season, you will able to see the hippos.
Game drives in Kruger Park with guide Shawn, View from our balcony, breakfast, massage, comfort of our room and the whole lodge, friendliness of the entire staff, security, condition of property.
It is on the crocodile river, very close to the Kruger park gate. 5 mins drive. I can spend the whole day on the hotel deck for finding animals. There is always some surprise
Did not have breakfast but had dinner and that was great. Always good to look over to KNP see what you can.
This Inn is ideally suited for entering KNP at Malelane gate.
Unique place. Old style hospitality in a funky classical and traditional environment set on the Crocodile River with animals from the Kruger National Park frequenting.
