The bed was not comfortable at all and worse I had asked for two single beds because I was travelling with a friend but they didn’t keep promise. The breakfast fast was also bad and underwhelming for a 5 star hotel.

It was a well worth the cost and even more than what was expected. The facilities and staff were awesome. Everyone was very courteous and friendly, from the security at the entrance to the desk staff and the support staff. We felt welcomed and well cared for. Their breakfast was great and the restaurant serves really delicious food. Cocktails and drinks were great as well.

I stayed with family menbers and they had a nice thatched room.
As I said, my opinion is that we were accommodated in the old gardener/gate security guard's facility because it is situated right at the gate
The loadshedding in RSA contribute 100% to make your stay terrible

Don’t read everything you see in the news.
Don’t read everything you see in the news. One of the best mixed used property development areas in the world. It’s your turn Sandton. Midrand is safe and open for business. Bless always.

Our purpose for traveling to Midrand was to visit family and grandchildren, not especially to see the sights. However, there were two places in addition to the house where we were visiting our family that we really enjoyed:
There was a Natural Wildlife and Bird reserve with walking trails and a lake, picnic tables, shelters, and facilities to make it pleasant and comfortable.
And the Mall of South Africa is not just a mall. It has both outdoor and indoor play areas for children, fountains to splash in, and amusement park type rides, (which weren't running on the days we were there), in addition to all the food and shops you would expect at a mall. And South Africa is very inexpensive for those coming from the UK, the USA, and Europe, so you can eat out, a really good meal, for the cost of the groceries for preparing it yourself back at home.

Place is relatively safe, even business and shopping at mall of africa there were no hustles.many places to eat around,we had spurs, nandos and debonairs pizza which was ok.we really didnt have time to see the other restaurants around maybe the next time we visit.getting around was quite easy with the ubers,we even went to woodmead value mart the other day with no stress. Only regrets were on accomodation as our host wasnt as helpful, will surely avoid it next time. otherwise the trip was a success.
The place doesn't exist. It's a scam. They take your money then tell you there is no accomodation. The telephone number is answered by a Nigerian man and woman that tell you they don't offer accomodation, after they took your payment. The address provided is an office park in a dodgy part of Vorna valley. They swore at me and called me a stupid South African, then laughed. It was at night and I was stranded with my bags in a dodgy area.
False advertising, no restuarant, no pub. Booked at Constantia hotel and conference centre arrived at midrand hotel, no rebranding of hotel name. Front office staff unprofessional. Did not even spend the might asked for a refund and it was laughed upon. Will never support this venue again. Concerned for bookings.com which does not check standards leaves a bad taste.
I am a big fan of City Lodge as well as a shareholder. So my comments are intended as purely constructive.
1. The pillows are excellent. the only hotel that understands a proper soft pillow! I can finally leave mine at home.
2.. Staff very pleasant.
3. Location for my purposes excellent.
We stayed here for 2nights from 09-11 December 202 and we enjoyed our stay here, would definitely come back again. The rooms were spacious and clean....it really exceeded our expectations and the breakfast was delicious. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Midrand/Johannesburg
it is super close to mall of Africa, host was very accommodating, place was very clean and comfortable… had all the extras of a hotel and more. Fast and Easy communication. We really enjoyed this place and was sad to leave. it was also very secure and safe. Can’t wait to come back!
This place is amazing, much better than most of the so called Hotel Boutiques.
I will absolutely and definitely come back, and this time for a longer stay. I don't regret anything about my stay.
The smell of the apartment is so welcoming and forever fresh.
Aside from all the usual high standards of aesthetics, comfort and cleanliness that Premier Hotels offer, the staff were professional and competent. They were welcoming, friendly, patient and willing to accommodate our requests.
Mercy is such a wonderful and and an awesome mum. She does everything on point and shes really good with the customers.we love to come back again. God bless her for her kind heart. I love Midrand
Beautiful venue, friendly and most welcoming staff. The place is easy to find and very safe.
Overall experience was amazing. This will definitely be my place of accomodation when in Midrand
Everything, the host Paul is absolutely incredible, by far the best place we have ever stayed.which must be in excess of at least 50 hotels and resorts. Including many 5 star places
