It's an old pub so don't expect luxury but the rooms are clean, the bed is very comfortable and it was generally quiet. There is a bistro downstairs for meals (but no breakfast) and a lounge area to sit in near a fire. On the whole it was perfect for a solo traveller for a one night stay. Easy walking distance from the railway station and the art gallery.

A bottle of wine was there and it was very nice. Truffles cottage sleeps 6 and has enough room for everyone., air conditioning and heaters, fully equiped kitchen, etc. Peaceful, quiet and lovely spot to relax. The cabin was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. “Gorgeous bath to relax in” Wonderful hosts who provided amazing local produce. It was a treat to walk in and discover a beautiful fruit platter, cheeses and wine.

The beds were very comfortable and the towels were luxuriously fluffy. An added bonus was the garage.
