Garden and pool area are amazing with monkeys in the trees. Secure parking on site is great. Staff were very accommodating and helpful even though we did not speak Portuguese. Breakfast had great choice and restaurant overlooks pool/garden area.

The owners were lovely, as were all the staff. They gave us lots of good recommendations in both Paraty and beyond.

Great wifi, gorgeous pool area, and amazing breakfast! And the housekeeper - Irene - is just wonderful. It's a 5 minute walk (maximum) along the river to the historic centre - this is a good thing! It means it's quiet and peaceful. Yes there are cheaper options in Paraty but you pay for what you get here. Really friendly and helpful staff - there was someone snoring loudly in my room and they were flexible enough to let me change rooms for the rest of my stay. Extremely clean, quiet (depending on other guests) and well located. The 8-bed dorm upstairs is lovely, plenty of natural light and very peaceful. I extended a few days here and would stay again.
