The house is beautiful, the environment relaxing and such a warm welcome from the manager! My room was extremely spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. It was very convenient for me to be so close to the centre of Somerton and yet quietly tucked away. It was lovely to have a walk around the grounds. I will return - and thank you!

We loved all aspects of the inn, from the welcome to the food. The room was perfectly comfortable, and quiet. The breakfast was superb. We had a very enjoyable walk around Ilchester too, to walk off our meal. A really nice place to stay.

A warm welcome was followed by time spent in a very pleasant and well equipped room. The shower room was extremely well planned and every detail carefully considered. We had a peaceful and restful sleep. The breakfast was plentiful and cooked to perfection. The entire property was meticulously clean, contributing to a delightful stay.

Perhaps a little small for a week stay but just excellent for 2 nights. The breakfast is table service and part buffet, there are endless choices and nothing is too much trouble. When we have to be in Somerset again we will definitely return here. Staff are so kind helpful and charming a real treasure of a hotel.
