Set in a 17th-century former farmhouse just metres from the banks of the River Wye, Parva Guesthouse is less than a mile from historic Tintern Abbey.

Most rooms enjoy river views, and all are individually decorated and include free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities and an en suite bathroom.

The food was brilliant! It is really worth dining in in the evening. Breakfast was amazing too! Marta is a wonderful host and they deserve a Michelin star (they don’t have one yet!). We’ll be back!

Very comfortable, well appointed room with bath and view. Staff very friendly. Fires in the bar/restaurant made for a warm, welcoming place to spend the evening. Dinner and breakfast were superb. Despite being on the only road through Tintern it was a quiet location.

Wonderful place to stay. Extremely spacious and comfortable, with everything (and more!) you could need. The house was immaculate and the outside seating areas were lovely, overlooking the river. The main street is busy, but quietens down at night. Really convenient location to explore nearby and beyond. We loved it here and will be back!

We received a warm welcome from owner Anika on our arrival. The room was very clean, quiet and comfortable and we settled in quickly. I had sent an advance message to Anika warning her of my wife's wheat allergy. Very kindly she baked a special gluten-free loaf which added to an already superb breakfast with fresh fruit salad, other home made breads and speciality jams and marmalade. A thoroughly pleasant stay in a glorious village.

I loved the quiet location, the welcoming Staff, my room and bathroom (absolutely gorgeous and so clean!), the fresh milk outside my door in the morning (how special!), breakfast (flexible, we could just create our own and it was presented beautifully on the plate!) and the dining-room with the logs felt so cosy! The whole of the hotel is a delight! It has such a warm, welcoming, peaceful energy! I LOVED being there! Thank you so much to you all!

The quality of the furnishings was excellent, everything worked and everything I needed was provided. There were elegant bonusses, notably a small espresso maker in my room and an imaginative and very well presented breakfast menu. Parval farmhouse it in an excellent location on the riverbank. It is quiet and peaceful.

We have spent a great time at this guesthouse, breakfasts were perfect. The bedrooms are big, and the entire house is very clean. It was so relaxing to stay there, spend a bit of time in the evenings outside along the river. Don’t hesitate to book there if you are looking for a peaceful & quiet place! The town of Tintern is amazing to explore too.
