This was a really special place, beautifully and lovingly restored with an old world charm. Beautiful outside spaces to sit, read eat & enjoy the views over vineyards to the snow capped mountains in the distance. The breakfasts were unreal.. generous and great variety. The buildings were beautifully decorated. Beds so comfy, with georgous bed linen & the showers were brilliant! On top of that Sophie the owner was such a lovely person, could not be more welcoming & despite being busy always took time to chat & advise about where to go. We had a great day at nearby thermal spa and the city of Viseu is full of hidden gems waiting to be discovered.

We had a wonderful night here, the food and wine were fantastic and the staff were lovely especiallyl Luis. We just had to leave with a few cases of wine. Unquestionably we will return for a longer stay

The property was everything that the host had described in his listing and more! The breakfast that he brought to our doorstep at 8 o’clock in the morning was nothing short of unbelievably outstanding!
