The hosts were very friendly. The room was spot clean and the surroundings were very quiet and peaceful. Even if we misunderstood the check out time , the host was very kind and let us check out a little late. There are several nice restaurants around and the beach is not very far ( by car) . It is about 1h drive from the starting point for the hike of the volcano Piton de la Fournaise.

The villa is huge and heating was good in the bedrooms. The fireplace added a special touch to the warmth of the house. Kitchen is well equipped with some condiments available for cooking. A washing machine is available but it will be perfect if a laundry rack is provided. The outdoor garden is amazing to sit in, with plenty of seating options and surrounded by all sorts of tropical plants. The kitchen is very well-equipped with everything you need to cook at home. The place is easily reachable by car and it has a free parking lot up front. The location is very quiet, the sauna and the jacuzzi are a very special treat after a hike or just to relax. Close by you have many different creole restaurants, just be sure to check if they are open during the holidays (Christmas/new year in our case) because most of them were just open for lunch. Finally, the staff is very helpful and kind :)

Perfect location if you want to visit South East and North East of the island! For breakfast everything is home made and sooo delicious! The owners are extremely friendly and they give you all the information about the island, update you with the latest events on the island (for us it was the eruption of the volcano). Just the place to be! Highly recommended 👌
