We recently stayed at Casa Alibri which is located an hour's walk from the beach, and we were blown away by its tranquil surroundings, the beautiful views of both the mountains and the sea. The hosts were incredibly lovely and made sure we had a comfortable stay. The food was amazing and really added to the overall experience. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway. The added bonus of a beautiful nearby river with waterfalls where you can swim is just the cherry on top!

The ocean breezes keep the balcony and cabana cool if you want to open it up for the fresh air. The way it is positioned you don't get hit by the afternoon sun directly so it's a really nice spot to relax. Additionally, the cabana has a lot of small touches and finishing that make it feel really elegant. They didn't just throw together a cabana but you can see the really put time into making it nice.

Posada la Ofelia is situated in El Trompito, 31 km from Santa Marta. There is a restaurant and guests can have fun at the games room. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property. Amazing location at the end of the road, so peaceful. Comfy bed with mosquito net provided, extremely friendly hosts, only 3 rooms so max 6 people staying there which makes it that bit more friendly and personal. Surrounded by nature. Shop and restaurants maybe 15 mins walk away on the main road with the option to eat at Ofelia too. Just perfect!

Situated in Santa Marta, at the top of a mountain and 1,6 km from Pozos Colorados Beach, this detached holiday home features a terrace and a garden with an outdoor pool. It was the complete house. We loved our stay here. Very clean room and room service was very fast and the food was delicious. Deymer the manager was very accommodating. I had left my passport in my room after I left for Santa Marta and he organised a taxi to drop it to my new hostel. Excellent stay at Buricata Hostel and I would definitely recommend. Also, free coffee!
