The area of hotel was very lovely with a lot of plants. The room was clean with all we needed- kitchen, towels, fan. The owner’s son was helpful for us, he recommended us some places and tips about La Fortuna. The place is a little bit out of the city but that adds to it charm.

Set in Tambor, Nicoya Peninsula, Castillo Tambor Resort & Restaurant features accommodations with free Wifi and pool/bar area. EVERYTHING ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! Gorgeous, well kept boutique hotel. The room was nicely decorated, spacious and super clean. Breakfast was included, it was plentiful and delicious. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The same hotel offers tours through their own tour company Pura Vida Expeditions CR, we took the Tortuga island tour and the bioluminescence tour. Plenty of things to do and explore in the area. We highly recommend it!
