Ravenstone Lodge ligt op 8 km van Keswick, aan de voet van de berg Ullock Pike en biedt een prachtig uitzicht op de Northern Fells. The location is perfect for local walks, from a short ride from Keswick even by bus. The room was very comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. The hotel restaurant is just a delight, the food is absolutely delicious and the breakfast is also top notch. The staff is very friendly and very good in making you feel welcomed and taken care off. I would definitely come back and would definitely recommend it.

Each morning, we were greeted with a sumptuous breakfast that catered to all tastes, featuring fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. The room was beautifully appointed, with attention to detail that ensured a luxurious and restful experience. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and the views from our window were picturesque, offering a serene backdrop to our stay. The location was ideal for exploring the natural beauty of the Lake District, with easy access to roads, trails and lakes. Tarn Hows was close by and simply quintessentially English countryside at its best! What truly set this B&B apart was the genuine care and hospitality of the hosts. Het Lake View Country House ligt in een tuin van 0,4 hectare, in het pittoreske dorpje Grasmere. Het is gevestigd in een onlangs gerenoveerd historisch pand met originele kenmerken. Breakfast at the Grasmere Brewery was lovely. I actually liked walking down the street from the cottage for breakfast. We loved Grasmere - the winding streets, the surrounding hills, the shops. I had chosen Grasmere as a place to stay because we wanted to spend a couple of days in the Lake District and I had read that it was one of the prettiest towns. It was exactly what we hoped for. Richard, the proprietor of Lake View Country House, was so nice and helpful in every way. He made us feel comfortable, welcome, and gave us a fantastic recommendation for a day hike near the house, and for restaurants.

Rydal Lodge Hotel ligt op een prachtige locatie aan de rivier en biedt elegante accommodatie in het Lake District, op 3,2 km van het centrum van Ambleside. The place felt very homely, beautiful and located close to Mount Rydal. Breakfast service is amazing. Mark and Helena are excellent hosts. Highly recommended!

Ees Wyke Country House is een elegant Georgiaans pand in het Lake District, op minder dan 3 mijl van de stad Hawkshead. Zo'n beetje de mooiste plek waar ik ooit heb overnacht. Het huis is prachtig en smaakvol (zeer Engels) ingericht. Je wordt hier enorm in de watten gelegd met een heerlijke kop thee en alles wat daarbij hoort bij aankomst en een karafje sherry op de slaapkamer. Deelnemen aan het diner is een aanrader! Het eten is heerlijk en de dame die in de bediening werkt heel vriendelijk. Een plek om zeker naar terug te gaan.

Het Lindeth Fell Country House biedt een indrukwekkend uitzicht over het meer Windermere en ligt op slechts 5 minuten van de veerboothaven. Er is gratis parkeergelegenheid. Het was erg schoon. Mooie bar en mooie ontbijt locatie
