He helped book a Periyar rafting trip since the website wouldn't take my US credit card. My room was huge with a big balcony attached. There was a nice size wardrobe. The bed was large and comfortable. The a/c worked well and there was a ceiling fan also. The bathroom had a glassed walk in shower with plenty of hot water and good pressure. The breakfast and dinner meals were outstanding. George took the guests on a tour of the Plantation, pointing out the different spice, fruit, and coffee trees/plants. He is in the process of building two new rooms and one will have it's own plunge pool. People may never leave the room.

The food is delicious and nourishing and some of the best I’ve had in India, the surroundings are stunning (don’t miss out on the 4 o’clock walk with Ansel, an extremely knowledgable nature guide who obviously loves sharing what he knows). All the little extras - such as free chai in the afternoons and bonfire night - makes this place truly unique.
