Fossardalur Guesthouse features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Djúpivogur. The property has river and quiet street views. We were so glad that we were embraced by the warm welcome of the hosts in this guesthouse. We had to check in early due to an unexpected storm. The hosts were very understanding and accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay as the guesthouse was well-equipped with everything we need. Hosts were very helpful and friendly. The best part was that we were rewarded with the beautiful view of the snow mountains when we drove out of the accomms after being stuck indoors due to the storm.

Set on an organic farm, Móðir Jörð Organic Farm Guesthouse in Vallanes offers accommodation in Vallanes. Free private parking is available on site. We booked for two nights and wished we could have stayed much longer. This place is a true gem! The host was very kind, professional and gave us plenty of local tips, wonderful! The cabin was incredibly cosy, surrounded by beautiful woods and incredible organic food from the farm. The location is perfectly situated to visit East Fjords of Iceland. We were on a road trip for our honeymoon and stayed across multiple accommodations, this was by far our favourite.

A good location for a relaxing holiday in Egilsstadir, Country House Tokastaðir is a country house surrounded by views of the river. Loved our stay here, we felt at home the host was so lovely and Toki the dog was such a sweetheart! The property is beautiful if you have time you could do some very scenic walks around the property. The location was good for us because we had car. The room was clean and the facilities were great, definitely recommend staying here for a more authentic Icelandic experience!
